Default PSW MP 2k or PSW505?

Will one PSW Micro Pro 2000 be better than one PSW505? than two PSW505s?

what is your application? Music, Movies, Room size, are you looking more for the boom boom boom or the tightness of bass with music. ect they are two different beasts, if you are mostly music and the room is smaller in size I woudl go with the MP2K, if doing movies and wanting SPL's then go with the 505s but room size will depend on what/how many you would need to acheive what you want.

Well both of my systems are in medium-to-large bedrooms. I suppose my greatest desire is for volume at very low frequencies. I can't stand the systems that sound great down to 40 Hz and then just roll off to nothing. My main room setup is awesome about that (LSi25s+PSW1000). That PSW1000 reaches so low while staying clean it's wonderful.

My setup I'm currently looking to add the subwoofer to is my Kenwood driven RTi A3s. I use this setup for writing music on my computer mostly, but I do watch some movies on it. Movies are mostly watched in the LSi room since its layout is better for that.

I suppose my question is how deep will the MP2k be able to solidly produce? In the music I write, there's a good bit of content in the 20-40Hz range, and I need something that can fit the bill so I can stop wearing headphones all the time.

dsw1000 r more musical sub, offers fast, accurate punchy bass notes, but they are 8 inch subs, they cannot go as low as 12 inch subs.
i actually recommend dsw pro 600 for your setup.

afterall it comes to a personel perferrence, i dont care about any musical content below 40hz, only at movies.
