Smile Christams music dvd's?

I am looking to buy a few christmas dvd's with true Dolby digital sound. I saw one with the real looking fire and a few others. Does anyone have any experiences with them or any that you can recommend or maybe even sell to me. I have to get ready for the holidays

I bought one a coupe of years ago....Have to check if it is DD...I dig it out and post which one I have....has several (5-6) different fire types and one nice thing over the screen saver (below) is that the dvd auto repeats...just doesn't produce any heat..oh and a little cedar or pinion incense makes a nice atmosphere...hehe..ALMOST as good as the real thing...which I don't have room for anyway.

I use the Comcast HD screen saver now....easier....
IF you have comcast it is under On demand (free) TV entertainment/ HD/ HD screen savers...

There are a couple of them I like while listening...MUCH better than the "big black hole"...glacier lake and waterfall is good too...as well as a couple of aquarium/ coral reef ones..

I looked, the one I have is the "Fireplace: Visions of Tranquality"
16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratio 1080p)
Music tracks in Dolby 5.1 & 2.0 and DTS
3 audio tracks presented in 13 combinations
Christmas goes Baroque: Silent night, We wish you a Merry Christmas, Jingle Bells, Kommet ihr Hirten..and 9 more
Night Music: Mozart, Beethoven, ...
Natural crackling sounds of the fireplace

Basically you can select any song/ sound (like it is stacked "in" your TV) with the same closeup of a fire...which changes from close up to more 'normal' viewing (like it is staked "in" your TV) for some reason I thought it had more fires options....I must have looked at a different one...this was the only one I could find back then...but its not bad. jus not completely "realistic" looking..

As far as music goes you can always change the Audio channel and play any CD while watching the DVD image on the TV, unless you only have one player.

Hello bigaudiofanatic. I think you will enjoy this. HD MOODS FIRE is recorded in 5.1 and is shot with 4000 lines of resolution red digital camera. It also has a couple of different audio tracks and scenes. Go to bluray.com. Then go to tool bar and type in HD MOODS FIRE. For 9 bucks its a steal. My wife always gets naked when i put this on. Let me know how u make out, lucky or not.

Loreena McKennitt is awesome. Trust me on that recommendation.

Here's one you may have heard. From the 'Highlander' sound track. Check out others on youtube.

Fan, performances of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker are a musical highlight of the Christmas Season all over the world. A DVD of a fine performance allows us to enjoy it whenever we want at any time of the year. The live performance by the famed Kirov Ballet at the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg stands at the top of the list, with excellent sound quality(DD 5.1 and Stereo). Available from Amazon and other sources for about $15-$20.

Check out Celtic Woman, they have a Christmas DVD that will knock your socks off. Ear and eye candy is a good combination.
