Default subwoofer box help

I have a 10" polk momo that came with an enclosure. I recently bought a new truck and i need a smaller box. can anyone tell me if i can buy a new box for it and make it sound right since the enclosure it came with is pretty much designed for it perfectly? any input is appreciated. im not gonna build my own box either.

Crutchfield has a good selection of premade boxes, maybe one will work. You should check out the vehicle specific enclosures as well. Maybe they have one made especially for your truck..

Building your own box is a lot easier than you think, and a quite a bit cheaper. Plus you can custom fit it to your truck not to mention it will probably be a better box than a premade one as those tend to be kind of flimsy ala Q Logic.

I suck as a carpenter yet I still build my own boxes. If I can do it, believe me, you can too.

Another option is the folks at The Wood Shop. They manufacture vehicle specific subwoofer enclosures. Their toll free telephone number is 888-227-5623.
