these subs are awesome they hit clean and deep. they are as loud as 10 inch subs in the same price range. if you don't have a lot of space in a pickup these 8 inchs subs will not disappoint. best damn 8 inch sub ive ever heard.

Yup! They do kick ass.
I consider them some of the best SQ subs but they can get loud when they need to.

Good 8'" subs can provide very nice low end. A good friend of mine has a couple of JL 8's in a custom Q-logic box in his F-150. He is running them with a Kicker ZR-240 at 2ohms bridged. I did not think that they would sound like they do, but I was pleasently surprised, they sound very nice.

I kinda like 8's best of all.
Over the last 15 years, Ive run 2 12's, 2 10's and 5 8's and although the 12's were very loud and hit harder, I thought the 8's sounded more musical. The best 8's Ive ever had is my pair of JL Audio 8W1's in a ported box. They are the smoothest and sweetest subs Ive ever had. |
