I'll be there Luther. Simply outstanding work, as usual.

I'll shoot you an email with my current inventory, see what I might bring, and what I might leave behind.

Cheers,
Russ

About 2 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Flea power but plenty for a headphone amp or pushing my Altec A7's (104dB)

It'd go to 99db

or as loud as a pair of 88db's getting ~13watts

How does that work luther, with the tube being a dissimilair triode?

I see plate dissipation on 1 triode as 1 watt, the other triode 10 watts, both running Class A (single ended).

2 watts is more power than most people think, esp since tubes don't hard-clip like solid state does. I use my 6197 'Spud' Single Ended Pentode amp at the office, hooked up to my 87db Norh 3.0's, and it's more than enough for that setting. I MIGHT turn it up halfway on occasion (mind you there is no preamp stage 'push' either, just a CDP straight to the amp, through a simple volume pot on the inputs.)

Cheers,
Russ

Wow. Gorgeous, and I'm sure equally wonderfully sounding, amp. 104db!! That's amazing!

ND13, even though it'd get to 99db, using all it's watts to do that, I would think that's not a lot of room left for headroom.
