Well. had a big bbq today and had a chance to show off the new receiver with the new Harry Potter movie for the kids followed by the Eagles Hell Freezes Over for the grown ups.(even the kids liked it)

Mantis is right; Denon and Polk shake hands quite nicely. One suggestion: Consider dropping the treble on music playback by 2 db on your Denon, depending on room size and construction. I did on my 3801, and the slight shrillness that was bothering me went away.
