Default The Company Xmas party

Anyone else having one?

We had ours this last Saturday at Dave and Busters. Fun place. It's like a soft-core Las Vegas Casino. My wife won $50 cash and I walked away with a 20" digital TV. We had a full-blown buffet and lots of free drinks and power cards for the games.

All-n-all one of the most fun company Xmas parities I'd ever been too. No one even got outta hand.

Peace Out~

My company SUCKS, we will be having a cold cut platter and such here at the office, freaking eating in the conference room. Freaking joke, I may call in sick that day. Can you tell I am pissed? The kicker is it is costing the company around $11.00 a person!

Thanks for letting me vent.

we don't have a seperate party, just a potluck treat day where we give the boss his present. the food (mostly homemade sweets) is usually good & the boss's gift isn't too expensive, so I can't complain.

Hoosier, I know how you feel.

The last Co. I worked for set up the Xmas party in the mechanics garage. It was effing pathetic and the Co. made some major coin that year. Greedy fuckers.

The following year, the company did the same thing, I did not go. My boss asked me why. I told him that this is was a very pathetic excuse for a Xmas party and it sucked.

After that, the president did not like me much, I laughed and a week later, December 24th, gave my two week notice, right over the Xmas holiday.

And here, a year later he (my old boos) calls me and hints about going back to work for him. I did not respond...at all.

Peace Out~

My company is renting out the ballroom at the Omnisuites and having a dining/dancing party.

Not going though, it's more designed for adults, and I refuse to think I am one at 24

I have three "company" christmas parties this week, an outdoor "park" party wednesday (weather permitting), a fancy semi-formal on thursday, and then a smaller christmas luncheon for immediate co-workers on fri. Then sat. I'm off to south carolina to visit with my brother, then do some snow skiing in north carolina! No work until after the new year! Woo-hoo (I've never ski'ed before so it might be more of an Oh-Oh than a Woo-hoo, I'll just be glad if I make it home injury free).
