Default Speaker wire

Hey guys-
Not trying to restart another wire debate. Not even gonna ask for brand recomendations because that always causes bloodshed.
Need to get wire for the RT600's for surrounds. I figure by the time it gets there I'm going to need like 50' runs. What gauge would be best for runs that long? Seems pretty long to me but maybe not.

Most people recommend 12G for runs that long although I use 14G without any problems.

Thanks- I'd like to use as thin as I can w/o degrading the quality. Trying to stuff a couple runs of the fat stuff under baseboards can be a biatch

I use 14 guage too for my surround.. 50 feet shouldn't be any problem for you.
