Vintage Polk
Hey guys and gals... here's my modest 2ch rig that is housed in my living room. I have a pair of SDA 2's (biggest 2's you can get). Crossover upgrades were done to them before I bought 'em, so I don't know what was done or if it actually made a difference in sound. I'm assuming it did... I did remove the polyswitches on the tweeters on my own. The SL2000 are going to be replaced ASAP as a result of this. Anyway, on to the pics...

Detail of the build of the rack. You can see the triangles of wood in the corners at the top. They keep it from leaning and pulling the screws out. The shelf supports are all screwed into the sideboards. Everything except for the corner supports is pine, and I haven't had any problems with it being too soft. |

More of a profile shot with the SDA's in it. Optimal seating is just out of view to the right. Note the duct tape holding the excellently colored couch together. It's to keep the SDA's from blowing the couch to pieces. |
