Dungeon Theater

Our finished basement is our entertainment room including a small office and bathroom. Since this a mainly a Polk focused (duh) website I will limit the extra product info. Of course some of it is essential. Needless to say our little "Dungeon Theater" is a work in progress. There is always room for improvement. Our next big ticket item will likely be a new TV. Definately a big screen HDTV. Plasma is still so new and I've been told by experts that it only has a shelf life of about 5 years. Thats about 1000 to 2000 bucks a year value and we aren't really interested in that kind of value(?) at the moment.

Stereo Rack - Includes the Yamaha, Sony DVD, Pioneer Laserdisc player and timer. The Yamaha was another great value at the time. It doesn't push out the most watts (6x75) but it still sounds superb to us. My wife picked it out and we've not been un-impressed by the features or power. There is always room for growth.	Right side RTi70 and Sony subwoofer. Wow. What crisp and clear (and loud) sounds eminate from these bad boys. I loved the sound of the Polk sub but the Sony was just too good a deal to pass up. 'Nuf said.	CSi30 Center. 80-90 percent of movie sound come out of this nice middle of the road center channel. Keep that in mind when you are looking for a good center speaker.
Right rear FXi30 surround. Some of the best around. I've currently got them set on "Bi-Pole". Why? Because they just sound better that way. 'grin'	Left rear FXi30 surround. See right surround.
