The room before. Ok, but that monster Sony 40" took up a ton of floor space and the whole room had an uneven feel to it.

The TV and center channel compartments jsut before I painted them. It was a real pain (literally) getting 300+ pounds of TV into that slot while making sure all the component and s-video cables were connected and run properly.

The finished product. Shelves were pre-built and then inserted into the cut out holes. The measurements were very precise - it was almost a vacuum effect when they were slid in - the guy knows what he is doing.....
The sub is on the right side, just in front of the right main but hidden by the sofa.

Csi40 center channel. Protrudes about 1.5 inches on the bottom and angled down to target the listener.

Niles wall faceplates. Kind of expensive at $20 a piece but definitely give it that professional finish look. I terminated the speaker cables with Monster quick-lock banana connectors.

Fxi30's were mounted using Omnimount 20's and I fished AR superflat wire through the wall and behind the baseboards all the way behind the shelves (before they were put in) and to the receiver.

A view of the back of the wall. I don't have a "before" picture but basically the only protrusion was the center piece (the one with the fireplace exhaust) The others on either side of it were built out and finished using the original siding and trim.
