This was the start of it all. My RM-6600 system running off my Onkyo 777AVR. You can see the polk psw-350 to the left of the stereo cabinet and just the edge of the MTX 10" sub to the right of it. Notice the giant bundle of cables running from the cabinet up to the TV and speakers - the wife always hated that...... :)

This is the first upgrade I did after the RM-6600's. Speakers, TV and cabinet are in the same positions, but the front and rear speakers are now LSi7's with an LSiC center. The subwoofers have changed to a single SVS 25-31cs+. (not seen is the Cinepro 3k6 amp in the bottom of the cabinet running all speakers including the sub)
I also got rid of the much hated cable by drilling a hole though the top of the fireplace and up through the floor behind the cabinet. all wires are now hidden.

Here is a current picture of my front stage with my LSi15's and the LSiC now sitting on a 50" hitachi LCD rear projection. The picture is taken from the seating position. You can just see the edge of my SVS 25-31 PC+ to the extreme right of the picture.

Here is current pic of my SVS locations and my equipment Rack. (with the doors open). The SVS on the left is a 25-31 PC+ the one on the right is a 25-31 CS+ run from one 500watt channel of my Cinepro Amp.

Here is a current pic of my Rack.

Here is the rear right channel (A gloss black LSi7). It is angled down and aimed a few feet behind me and over my head. (since it is the rear channel, it is not supposed to aim right at me)
|
Here is the back left channel (A gloss black LSi7). It is also angled down and pointed a few feet behind me. (you can see the edge of the coutch (my sitting position) in the bottom right corner of the picture.

This is taken from the TV pointing at the left surround. You can see another large (about 10') opening into my dining room.

This picture is taken from my TV facing the seating postion.

This is taken from the TV pointing at the right surround. As you can see, they didn't even bother with any walls here and just opened the whole thing up to my kitchen. Like I said, there is alot of square ft. to fill with sound. (my listening position is about 12-14' away from the TV)

Here is the first pic showing why my subs and system cannot pressurize my room (and probably won't in its current location nomatter what upgrade I do). This is taken from my living room in the front corner of my house. If you look though the 10' or so opening you can see my TV sitting in the opposite corner of the house. There is alot of area to pressurize. (the 5' or so opening on the left side of this pic opens to my dining room.)
