Polk/Velodyne !!!!!!!!Off Da-Chain!!!!!!!!

Finally got the 7.1 system bi-amped downstairs. Polk RT-16 Front, CS400 Center, RT-12 for surround and for surround back, Velodyne Spl 1200 sub mk I tuned to 90Hz. All speakers are set to small, a trick I got from Atlantic Technology Speakers. I'm coming out of a Sony STR-DA 5000 preouts, seven channels with the sub out as well with Monster Y-Adapters to 14 channels, passive vertically bi-amping all the speakers. I'm using Identical amps as is what's needed to accomplish this. The fronts are handled by a DBX BX-3 mkII, 4 channel mode at 125 watts ea. The center by a Sansui B-2101 at 200 watts ea stereo, A spk input. The S/R by a DBX-BX-3 mkI , 4 channel mode at 125 ea. The S/B by a DBX BX-2, 4 channel mode at 90 watts ea. All I can say is it's like nothing I've ever heard before. It's so crystal clear at low or high volumes it just blows you away!! Channels 6 & 7 are placed behind two reclining chairs so the speaker is right over head when you lay back. I'll replace this Sony with an pre/pro, maybe from Cary or Athem and I'll be in Nirvana Heaven. Listening to surround music or movies is truely something to experience all over again. Some movies have you turning on the lights to see if something's coming out of the walls and all. There are alot, more expensive speakers out there but I love the sound of these Polk's hands down for bass and treble with this power port in all! I dialed everything in with my Radio-Shack analog Spl meter on C weighted and Slow mode!

Another recliner w/RT12 behind and one to the left w/ a black shelving unit for some stereo odds and ends to include HT magazines. Both recliners go down lower than this so the speaker is actually over your head and I tell you it's awesome!!	More seating w/a double cd rack at the end.	Some pictures on the wall to add to the overall color of the room.
My largest dvd/music shelf to include some dvd/A disk.	Closer view of the left side w/Akira on top of the RT16 and Frodo on the egde of the goldstar. The Sansui AT-700 Timer turns the system on because both monsters switching cords run to it and the large power cords go directly in the wall.	Gandolf and the Wizard at opposite ends of the CS400 center spk. The DBX TX-3 is right above the Sony STR-DA5000ES.

Black leather chair w/ottoman and another dvd rack w/cd rack behind it.	Nice rug which sets the whole room off and a table I cut down to give it that oriental look w/beveled glass top.	A video rack in the back of the room if I ever need to store something else.
The X-box w/Alien vs Predator paint sceam lights and all. All work done at the: Gamerz Garage and ask for John 630-719-1077 tell him Dee sent you. This guy can do any design you want to include controllers if you don't plan on using them and gives advice to boot!!	Closerv view of the movie collection w/the martial arts on top, my favorite.	I have added three more dvd/cd racks since the '06 setup. The tall black one is my new martial arts rack. The other two racks are for SACD's and HD movie titles.

My largest dvd shelf to include some figure's of some of the best films to hit dvd. Shaka Zulu box set, The Lord of the rings 1-3. 300 collectors helmet. Band of Brothers 10 disc box set, and man this is awesome to watch. I moved my martial arts collection to its own shelf acroos the room.	More box sets as you move oround the room.	Some Alien-vs-Predator models, an Ork on the table top, a Transformer dvd statue is also so a dvd holder only available at Target stores when it came out.
A little lighting added to the rear of the room.	Another shelf for SACD's, DVD-Audio, Live concerts and more. There's a puzzle of Dark Vader as a child and his reflection.	Right side view w/Akira on the RT16. The X-box to the left. I added a RCA HDV5000 HD DVD Player above the Toshiba SD-9200.
I added this round table and swivel remote holder for convenience.	Change the flower arrangement to a fuller set.	1 of 4 "300 photos" that came with the helmet box set, sitting on channel 4 LS in the back of the room.

Some action dvds at the top. Shaka Zulu box set and the Lord Of The Rings book ends.	You see "SMEAGOL" crouched down low preparing to handle that fish he caught.	The Castle from Lord Of The Rings 3 "Return Of The King" can open up.
