Polk Audio's new UltraFit Sports Headphone Series is a rethinking from the ground up of performance, comfort and durability-the three characteristics serious athletes need most in a pair of headphones. Serious music lovers too will value the UltraFit Series because of its undeniably impressive sonic performance.
The UltraFit 500 is designed to sit in the flange of your ear canal, while the ear piece hook insures a snug yet comfortable fit. The UltraFit 500 does not use in-line controls or a microphone, but has been designed to assure you of moderate noise isolation, so you're always aware of your environment. A short (14") cable, frees you to wear an MP3 player on a sleeve or collar for the utmost in hassle-free and tangle-free connections.
Three Cable Lengths For hassle-free, tangle-free Convenience
UltraFit Series headphones (500, 1000 and 3000) come with three cable length options, so you can wear your music device the way that works best for you. A long (41") cable enables you to wear your music player on your waist or pants pocket. The short (14") cable lets you to wear an iPod nano®, iPod shuffle® or other MP3 players on a t-shirt sleeve. While the headphone to 1st connector is for a shirt collar.

Strengths:
They look good. They have a known name on them so you feel cool. I expected more out of them with that 118db sensitivity rating compared to many others 100db ratings.Weaknesses:
Bass performance if not manually holding in your ears. May clip and cutout on some mp3 players as it did on my Sony.Review:
These headphones sound good....if you constantly press them into your ears with your hands while you listen. None of the supplied ear cushions allow the bud to stay inside your ear close enough to keep it clear and the bass loud. If left alone they distort a little bit at full volume. Sounds like a flutter. They caused my Sony mp3 player to clip with the bass boost on. They work with an iPhone 3g, but again only with the flutter at full volume. If you press into your ears, they sound good.Dealer List
