In fact, our model numbers convey a very simple performance rule of thumb to make it easy for you: As the model number increases (45, 50, 55, or 4, 5, 6 in the new Atrium Series.), the loudspeaker's ability to create more coverage in a given space increases. The larger the Atrium model number, the larger the driver diameter, the more bass that particular loudspeaker can produce and the more power it can handle.

- Extreme Temp Test: cycles from -40°F to 185°F at 50% humidity for 48 hours.
- Extreme Temp Test at High Humidity: cycles from -40°F to 185°F at 95% humidity for 24 hours.
- Extreme Humidity Test: 140°F at 95% humidity for 54 hours.
- UV/Salt-Fog Materials Test, based on military specifications for "ASTM D5894" and "Mil-Std 883" tests: alternates one week of UV and one week of Salt Fog exposure, for six weeks (1008 hours total).
- UV/Salt-Fog Whole Speaker Test (based on military standard "Mil-Std 883 Method 1009 8" test): UV and Salt Fog exposure, 24 hours.
- Whole Speaker Immersion Test ("The Dunk Test"), based on military specifications for "Mil-Std 810": total immersion test for air/moisture leaks in non-ported speaker models.
