The Atrium 65SDI has a unique, patented* Dual Input/Single Input Switch. Combined with its ingenious Dual Tweeter Array, this switch allows the Atrium 65SDI to be used either as a single high performance stereo loudspeaker, or the left-or-right speaker in a high performance stereo pair.
And you can use it practically anywhere, because the Atrium 65SDI also has special military spec waterproofing features, including a patented** waterproof PowerPort bass vent.

- Dual Voice Coil driver for stereo play.
- Two 1" (25mm) Dome Tweeters with Neodymium Magnets for accurate high frequencies.

Premium Outdoor Construction
Atrium Series speakers are for all seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall.
A mineral filled polypropylene cabinet made of a space age polymer has internally molded-in bracing for all Atrium models, which
eliminates the typical "plastic trashcan sound" found in other outdoor speakers.
Mil-Spec Water Proofing
Polk Audio Atrium Series Loudspeakers meet or exceed industry and military specifications for environmental endurance. The tests have coded names like "ASTM D5894-UV Salt Fog," "Mil standard 810 Immersion" and "Mil standard 883 Method 10098 for salt and corrosion."
Passing them means that Polk Multi-Application Loudspeakers can withstand some of the worst that Mother Nature (or your bathroom or kitchen installation location) can dish out.
Dynamic Balance and Klippel Optimization
Like all high quality Polk speakers, the dome tweeters and polymer drivers in all Atrium series speakers are both Dynamic Balance and Klippel Optimized. Dynamic Balance allows us to see the operation of the component on a microscopic level, reducing or eliminating artifacts that color the sound. Blue Polymer Woofers with Rubber Surround
Provide excellent damping and bass response while resisting deterioration. Your Atrium Speakers may last longer than the house they're installed in. Other speakers use flimsy paper cones and foam surrounds that can fall apart.
