STRENGTHS:
Ring Radiator tweeter.
Drivers with the polypropylene cones.
THX Ultra2 certified speakers.

WEAKNESSES:
Yet to discover.

REVIEW:
I like the Ring Radiator tweeter for its high frequency extension, clarity and detail and the drivers with the polypropylene cones. The best thing I like about these speakers that it offers "Wall Distance" switch which lowers output in the low-midrange/upper bass area to correct the heavy and thick voices. I was very particular about THX Ultra2 certified speakers to connect with my THX Ultra2 certified receiver. It jells very well with my other Polk THX Ultra2 in-wall speakers.

STRENGTHS:
Superb hi's and very good cross over. The sub dispite so discouraging reviews is awsome. Very good imaging and dinamics.

WEAKNESSES:
PRICEY!!! Could have easly found a tower system that sounds really good for less money but if inwall is what you want i dont think you can do better for less than 10,000.

REVIEW:
I have a full polk inwall system powered by an Onkyo Txsr806b. RTS105s in the front and RTSFXs in the rear with a PSW1000(cherry) lfe.

I have had this system for two months and i find it to be a very good blend of speakers and sub. The hi frequesy detail is supurb. I spent alot of time trying to find an audiophiles in-wall system and after being told several times that you cant get great sound out of inwalls at all the high end retailers, i did. Very happy and will enjoy for many years to come.

STRENGTHS:
This basically is a THX certified version of LSI9 speaker.

Superior clarity,
No distortion,
Lifelike speech vocals etc.
choice of cloth or aluminum paintable cover
solid solid solid speaker

WEAKNESSES:
Can't get loud deep bass, but the bass coming from this is a lot more than I originally expected.
Wish they were cheaper

REVIEW:
WOW what can I say I am simply amazed by the accuracy, loudness, distortion free THX certified sound these speakers produce.

I also have LSI25 and feel like they are more value for the money than LCi-RTS105 but if you want great performance in in-wall speakers there is nothing that can beat these.

I have always thought that in-wall speakers are just a compromise but when I heard them at Tweeter I was simply amazed. It also helps to have a living room free of floorstanding speakers when you have three kids under 4 years old playing around. Oh and if anyone is considering Bose over Polk (bose shouldn't even be in the same sentence) then there is no hope for him.

   NCAUDIOFAN (November 7th, 2007)

STRENGTHS:
Plays loud and clean with reasonable wattage.
Smooth treble and strong midbass.
flush-mount look will blend into any room.

WEAKNESSES:
Larger than most in-wall models.
At $2400 per pair, they are a substantial investment.

REVIEW:
I just heard the new RTS105 in-walls at Tweeter in Cary, NC. They were set up in a dedicated theater with a Sony VPL-VW60 Blu-Ray player and Yamaha receiver. The sound was amazing. I would put these up against just about any in wall under two thousand dollars each. Unlike most in-walls, these speakers played loud and clean with plenty of midbass on rock (AC/DC & Queen) and the Blu-ray "Night at the Museum". Close your eyes and you'd think that a pair of large floor standing speakers was enveloping you.
