STRENGTHS:
Price and sound quality

WEAKNESSES:
None. I assume any one buying these understands there is always effort to install built-in speakers.

REVIEW:
I bought two of these along with the SWA 500 amp and hooked them up to my system. I had no expectations but hi hopes as my system is a two channel stereo system of decent quality. The system intent was to reproduce up to concert level volumes while maintaining the best, or as close to class "a" sound that i could achieve on a budget. I have two floor standing tower speakers from B&W stacked on top of each other. This allows the tweeters to be at the same level & to reduce phase or timing issues. These are driven by four Carver M1.0 amps (1 amp each floor stander) at 1000 watts rms each. (I was told that if the amps were good enough and the signal clean enough that this would not be a problem for the speakers). Now you have an idea of the size of the system. So.......i hooked up the CSW200s and man was i surprised. They have great sound quality and can actually keep up with this system with little effort.

STRENGTHS:
Powerful bass. Reasonable Cost. Great Customer service.

WEAKNESSES:
Just that you need to do an installation to place these in a floor, ceiling or false wall.

REVIEW:
I installed two of these for my home theater system. If you are building your theater yourself these are very easy and straightforward to install. I isolated as instructed and have no issues. They sound tremendous, especially when hooked to the SWA-500 subwoofer, I am very please with the deep down powerful bass I get from DVD's.

   Rob (March 5th, 2007)

STRENGTHS:
Stealth, bass response, ease of install.

WEAKNESSES:
Even though I isolated the unit as instructed there still was some residual vibration in an adjacent room, which was carried through the beams

REVIEW:
Just finished install a single unit with the matching amp, used a brass vent cover purchased at the local HD. Installation was easy and stealth. Bass level was incredible. Considering the limitations I had with placement, the sound suffered no ill effects and the customer loved everything about it.

STRENGTHS:
Awsome sub that you cannot see - until someone points out where all the thump is coming from

WEAKNESSES:
Theses heavy monsters are not for the faint of heart DIY-ers!

REVIEW:
If stealth, heavy and beefy bass is a must- then these are a must - very impressive!

   Satisfied Customer (February 22nd, 2006)

STRENGTHS:
One package, out of site with incredible sound characteristics. Best purchase you'll ever make.

WEAKNESSES:
The 9 inch depth does limit some in exsisting applications.

REVIEW:
By far and large the best sub woofer on the market. You will be totally satisfied with it's performance and awesome sound delivery.

Expert Reviews:

"Polk Audio has created a clever slogan for its new subwoofers: 'Bass performance that's out of sight.' And it's more than just clever, it's accurate."
