In your Wall, in your Budget
To perform well with a budget in mind is to perform well, indeed. This practically invisible in-wall speaker is your introduction to the world of stealth audio; with superior components for performance the critics consider top-flight in its class. Built to satisfy the need for clutter-free audio, interior design savvy and audiophile performance standards, Vanishing RT speakers are the best sounding entry-level in-ceiling & in-wall speakers Polk has ever made.
Vanishing 625-RT Features:
Vanishing Series built-in speakers feature our exclusive wafer-thin Sheer-Grille™, a magnetically-secured grille that protrudes only 7mm from its surroundings. Sheer-Grilles have nearly transparent, ultra-small perfs, and are acoustically inert, for dynamic, unimpeded sound and more uniform coverage, even in larger rooms.
Painted to match your décor, Vanishing Series built-in speakers are virtually indistinguishable from their surroundings.
Vanishing Series RT speakers are timbre-matched to Polk RTi Speakers to insure utterly seamless blending from speaker to speaker in systems that combine traditional and built-in speakers.
Easy one-cut, drop-in installation puts built-in audio within reach, with Perfect Fit templates, a precision flange, and (available) pre-construction brackets; achieve secure, vibration-free efficiency with a simple turn of the patented Rotating Cam system.
All Polk products are made using the best materials and the most advanced manufacturing techniques. They pass the industry’s most exhaustive quality tests, including drop testing, extreme signal response and UV & salt exposure testing. Polk loudspeakers are built to perform for a lifetime.

Flush to the wall on either side of my TV the don't visually stand out. Timbre matched to RTiA, CSiA series speakers for the ultimate front sound stage.
Weaknesses:
Only that I'm not up to painting the grills to match the walls but the white looks fine.
Review:
I've been using a pair of 625-RT's as presence speakers in my home theater set up. Presence speakers are posi tioned to the right and left of your monitor above the mains to provide dialog lift when your center channel is below the monitor. Also used by your AVR for sound fields. In this capacity, the 625-RT's perform admirably. Timbre matched to my CSiA6, the voices sound as though they are coming right out of the TV.
