C300.2 (2/1 Channels)
Bridgeable 2-Channel Power Amplifier
Championship Performance
C300.2 Championship Performance:
"This amp sounds great, and is almost indestructible, as befits a member of the Polk/MOMO family. Considering the quality of the sound, the fit/finish, and the reliability of the C300.2 I'd say this amp is a keeper."
Car Audio & Electronics
- Polk's Massive Dynamic Headroom (MDH) Power Supply uses multiple smaller-value capacitors wired in parallel to lower the Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR). This lowers impedance for more efficiency, faster transient response, more instantaneous power peaks, tighter bass and better control.
- The MDH Power Supply features oversized Toroidal Transformers to more easily deliver high voltage, high current power. This set of tremendous transformers lowers the incidental radiation of stray magnetic fields for uncontaminated audio signals.
- Oversized Power Supply BUS Bars achieve maximum power transfer from the MDH Power Supply to the audio circuitry for more efficient high voltage, high current output stages.
- Better Sound.
- Power Supply "Choke"? Inductor reduces stray noise effects from power cables and alternators, cutting ground loop disturbances for truly quiet amp performance.
- High current Bipolar Output Transistors with low impedance pump maximum voltage and high-current to your speakers. Dual low noise Operational Amplifiers at the input gain stages deliver higher gain & wider bandwidth at a faster "slew" rate (with the ability to change voltage "on the fly"), for excellent transient response.
- High-end Non-Inductive Metalized Film Capacitors in the active filter stages for excellent transient response and extended bandwidth with low noise and low distortion.
- Surface mounted Metal Film Resistors are used in the audio signal path, delivering higher performance with lower noise and less fluctuation ("value drift") over time. MFR technology is so stable that your music will sound perfect for the life of your amp.
- High damping factor at the speaker output terminals improves driver control for tighter, punchier bass.
- More Control.
- While most amps have an input sensitivity up to only about 2 Volts, Polk's Variable Input Sensitivity ensures high performance even with older, low-power head units by accepting 200mV up to 8 Volts, and allowing Line Level (RCA) or Speaker Wire inputs.
- Fully adjustable electronic crossovers power any install using virtually any speakers on the market.

Clean Power, Looks good linked together with C500.1.
Weaknesses:
Price is a bit high, but in the end result, worth it.
Review:
I took a shot at purchasing all Polk Momo Carbon series in my new truck and I know I made the right decision. This amp puts out really clean power to my Momo MM6 components, the wattage matches perfectly. I would say that out of all the amps that I have owned in the past, this one compares to some of the better amplifiers such as JL audio and Alpine. I was a little leary at first but I like the results.

Clean crisp power to 1 or 2 channels.
Weaknesses:
None at all, just like every polk product.
Review:
Great amp, amazingly clean power. Incredible in bridged mode...puts out 600 watts @ 4 ohms!

Amazing power, sound is very crisp, cleay, and HARD hitting.
Weaknesses:
....well.....there is that, wait no.... oh yeah none
Review:
Hooked up bridged to two Polk MM 12's (each get 250-300rms) and just amazing sound clarity and deep hard hitting bass. Getting the polk 4 channel amp for the rest of my polk speakers. This is an amazing amp, price to power ratio is great on this amp. 600W @ 4ohms is insane for an 850W amp. The Bazooka 1500W amp puts out 500W @ 4 ohms and only hits 40hz while this thing hits 10hz. If you have the money simply get this sub no ifs ands or butts.

the design is great. keeps a low temp under heavy use.
Weaknesses:
the pre-eq sucks, causes crappy high lows. the filtering on this amp is junk. For retailing as high as it does you woild expect a little more.
Review:
I bought this amp in january 2004, hooked it up to a MM12 (500RMS sub). Okay even though polk rates this amp @ 550 RMS don't let that fool you. The average power coming from your car is 12.5 Volts not 14.4 volts like the amp is tested so the amp is really only putting out 445W RMS.

nice looking, very clean.
Weaknesses:
not enough power to run 2 4ohm 10s, had to use is for my front speakers and use my 4 channel MTX for the subs.
Review:
amp sounds good, very clean crisp sound. obviously the guy below this has never measured the power at the amp when his car was running, every car i ever tested gets 14.2 - 14.6 volts while running. i think you have a dead battery buddy!!

Too powerful for my 10" Pioneer. I think this thing can hit at least two of these. Very good looking
Weaknesses:
None, at least not at this time
Review:
Very nice amplifier, And the best it's the price: only $110USD here in Mexico, at Sam`s Club. A real deal. The amps were sold in one week, IN THE 6 SAM`S CLUB OUTLETS IN MEXICO CITY

None I can think of yet.
Review:
I purchased a Carbon 300.2 a couple weeks ago and finally got to install it last week. After I installed it I couldn't get it to work right. The amp was defective, I took it back to where I bought it and they gave me another one. As soon as I got home and plug everything together the amp was amazing. The amp is bridge to one MM2104 and boy does it hit. Once I work out the tweaks on the amp and my HU I couldn't stop smiling. Good work guys, customer for life.

Review:
I originally purchased this amp to power my new P/M components and it made them scream to the point it hurt my ears. Then converted this to power my sub and got the 400.4. I am amazed by the incredibly crisp power this provides to an 8ohm or 4ohm load without a hint of distortion.

Review:
This amplifier is great, Im currently running 2 Jl Audio W3V2's, total of 600rms and this amp is able to power them easily. At high or low volumes the amp stays clean and undistorted.

Review:
I must say that this is deffinatley the best amp I've bought in a while.I have the c300.2 powering my 2 Bazooka el series 10" subs and I dont think they'll last. I love the design of the amp and the way it hides all wiring is great. Also I appreciate the way the people at POLK take care of their customers....I lost a set screw for one of the speaker terminals and all it took was a phone call to the Polk HQ.in Baltimore, told them my problem and recieved a screw 2 days later. You guys will have a customer for life. Thank You.

EVERYTHING!
Weaknesses:
after taking the wires in and out a few times the alan heads for the wiring start to strip. but something that small won't have me talking bad about this amp.
Review:
This amp is amazing! Looks good, affordable, and relieable. Even for being hooked to my stock head unit it still puts out blenty of power for my polk 12.

Can't bridge two 4 ohm subs (maybe you can, but it's not listed as an option in the user's manual)
Review:
I saw this amp on sale at Fry's. I bought two. Hooked up a Polk DB104 in bridged mode and it hits like a hammer. Nice quality amp, and it was an absolute steal for the price. I wish I'd bought four.

AMAZING Customer Service. Good clean sound output.
Weaknesses:
One of my amps overheated and melted some caps inside. Still have overheating problems.
Review:
Overall, not a bad amp. Bought two. One went bad, but Polk replaced it immediately, no hassles, which to me is VERY important in a company. Currently running two C300.2 each in bridged mode going to one Focal 165 KP2 UV.
