The Most Important Speaker in Your Home Theater System
Even in a smaller room theater setup, the center channel speaker carries the load of over 50% of a movie’s effects and audio, from directional cues to dialogue. Timbre-matching is important, so that all the speakers in your system feature the same tonal qualities (for seamless transitions). The CS10 is a small-sized, hard working, high performance center channel speaker timbre-matched to the TSi Series, so you can build a small home theater for a reasonable price without sacrificing performance. Its innovative angled-top design gives you more placement flexibility; with perfect aiming whether you place it on top of your TV or below the screen.
CS10 Features:
Achieve perfect imaging with more placement flexibility because the angled CS enclosure flips to accomodate TV-top or below-screen placement.
Unlike other speakers in this price range, TSi enclosures are constructed of extensively braced, solid MDF with 3/4-inch baffles. This virtually eliminates internal resonances and damps energy-stealing vibrations, for more efficient operation and more transparent sound.
Beautiful pewter accents, a high gloss piano-finish black top plate and your choice of stylish black or cherry wood-grain finishes make TSi speakers a part of your decor.
Polk’s proprietary, patented Dynamic Balance® technology allows our engineers to design out distortion-causing driver and system resonances, so you only hear the good sounds.
Klippel motor optimization uses laser measurement technology to ensure a smooth excursion path at either end of the volume spectrum for uniform performance at both low and high volumes.
TSi design combines smaller drivers (for more overall driver area with less driver mass) and narrow baffle geometry, for wider range and more spacious soundstaging, so every seat in the house hears a prime performance.
Unlike horns or metal domes, silk dome tweeters deliver clear and detailed highs, without fatigue, even at high volume.
Durable, efficient, and tuned with our Dynamic Balance process, TSi Series polymer cones produce smooth, natural sound.
Surprisingly deep, musical bass response thanks to our critically tuned flared port venting system, which minimizes port noise (“chuffing”) and smooths the turbulence of port air flow, to reveal big, full-bodied bass that blends effortlessly with the speaker’s overall dynamics.
All Polk loudspeakers are timbre-matched within their series, designed with the same components throughout, to achieve seamless speaker-to-speaker blending effects in multi-channel systems.
Our high efficiency design results in sound that’s spacious and clear, warm and realistic, when combined with practically any electronics, even the most modestly-powered amplifer or receiver.
Our high performance crossover system boosts performance with premium components, like mylar bypass capacitors, to extend response in the higher, more detail-oriented frequencies.
Gold-plated, professional-style 5-way binding posts, for the most secure connection options.
All Polk products are made using the best materials and the most advanced manufacturing techniques. They pass the industry’s most exhaustive quality tests, including drop testing, extreme signal response and UV & salt exposure testing. Polk loudspeakers are built to perform for a lifetime.

Clean, clear and natural sound. Male voices have a slight chesty quality but for me, this is a definite plus. And of course, APPEARANCE. It looks infinitely more high end than most speakers in this price range.
Weaknesses:
For the money, none. If you compare this to an RTi or LSi series center speaker, you'll notice less overall transparency.
Review:
This particular series(TSi/CS) falls in the lower mid-range category and my 5 star rating is based on that fact. For example, my rating should in no way suggest that this speaker would perform similarly to the LSiC center speaker or any speaker in that price range. But not everyone can afford a $500 center speaker which is why we have the TSi series. For the money, this is a great center speaker. I bought mine from Newegg and for the price I paid, I couldn't be happier. Dialog is natural and intelligible with a considerable amount of "oomph" in the lower frequencies. I compared this to the CS1 and to my ears, the CS10 is a more laid back speaker. Highs are easier to listen to. Sibilance was a big problem with CS1 but this speaker is definitely more tame in that regard so if you don't like listening to hissy s's or t's, go with the CS10. One last thing that I would to mention is the look. Normally, I don't bother to mention anything about cosmetics of a speaker but this thing is BEAUTIFUL. I purchased the black version because that's what matches the rest of my speakers but if I could go back, I would most definitely get the cherry version. Even with that said, the black version is still gorgeous. The piano gloss finish is something one would expect from more expensive speakers so to get this from a speaker at this price point is just awesome. Again, for the money, you can't go wrong. Sure, there are better speakers on the market but be prepared to spend considerably more to get better sound. For a good mid-range system, give the TSi series a listen, and be prepared to be wowed by their looks.

Terrific sound, voice matching with TSi100 and the good price.
Weaknesses:
Until now I don't find any weakness to mention.
Review:
Recently I buy the TSi100 (front) and the OWM3 (surrounds and surround backs) for my Onkyo TX-SR705 A/V Home Theather Receiver. It is the first time I have a Polk speakers and I will remain with Polk for ever. The sound of its products are the best I hear in my 38 years of age live. And the CS10 is not the exception it make the perfect center speaker for my home theater for music and movies. The CS10 make a good job in the movies it's like you have the actor in the front of you and in with music it's make a good job too. Now I order the Subwoofer PSW125 to complete the polk line and replace a old sony subwoofer in my system. In conclusion I recommend the CS10 center speaker and the others I mention. And the price are good for the value you receive (sound, quality and pretty look).

Review:
About a year ago I bought one of these speakers from Bestbuy . It was the best i've every spent! My configuration for my system is following... Polk Audio R50 Towers, Yamaha RX-V-363, this speaker, BIC America V1220. I would have paid atleast 50% more for this speaker. This is such a strong speaker. I've gotten this speaker up to around 110dB It plays very strong. The Dynamic Balance Dome Tweeter has amazing clarity and response. It stay relatively clean using my full peak of 350 watts or so (not including sub). This speaker has been my friend for over a year now. I also thought it would be worth it to mention the design. If you flip the covering in the front and turn the speaker over, you can project the sound upwards. I like this feature if I would need to put it under my TV. I compared it to some older Klipsch speakers. Well, frankly they didn't compare to this speaker. I like this speaker also because it takes less wattage to get it going. When I was playing my music and movie sound on the Klipsch center channel it took a lot of watts to get it going. To sum it all up. This is one of the best speakers I have purchased. Review:
In a nutshell, this is a very impressive speaker. When my friend first saw it they estimated it to be around a $300 speaker and from the sound that comes out of it, i would have thought that as well. Great price, great speaker.

Sounds great and well worth every penny. i have it intergrated with the tsi 100 rears and tsi200 fronts. i have it all powered by the denon 591 600 watts 5.1. but u are able to do 7.1 with this denon so i can wait to get more tsi100 to use as 2nd rear set of speakers.
