Home theater takes on a new dimension.
The CS350 is the right choice to match with any main Polk speaker that uses the 1" Tri-laminate dome tweeter, particularly the large, high output models. Its tremendous power handling and high SPL capability make the CS350 the ideal choice for people who like to listen at life-like levels.
- Magnetically shielded for safe placement next to TVs without picture interference
- Low profile design allows unobtrusive placement on top of TVs
- Dynamic Balance drive units ensure correct timbre matching to other Polk speakers for seamless, life-like imaging
- Clear, detailed highs from Polk's Tri-laminate dome tweeter made of polymer with vapor deposited micro-layers of stainless steel and aluminum
- Angled cabinet allows speaker to be pointed upward when placed in a low position (such as on a cabinet shelf under the TV)
- Non-metallic driver basket for the best possible magnetic shielding
- Fluid cooled tweeter provides the high power handling essential for center channel speakers
- 5-way binding post input terminals
The Center Channel Loudspeaker:
Whether you're assembling a new home theater system or upgrading an existing one, to experience the full potential of Surround Sound you will need a center channel loudspeaker.
Contrary to popular opinion, the center speaker is not just for reproducing dialog. Since all on-screen action, including explosions, gunshots and sound effects as well as dialog, must be faithfully reproduced and anchored to the TV screen, not just any speaker will do.
Here's a checklist of things to look for in a center channel speaker.
Designing a speaker to address all these criteria is a tall order. How do you build an uncolored high performance speaker capable of handling lots of power, magnetically shield it and then package it into a compact, unobtrusive enclosure? By applying the latest technological advances in materials and measurement to an understanding of people's needs, Polk has done exactly that in three new center channel loudspeakers. The Polk Audio CS150, the CS250S and the CS350LS.

Life like dialogue, and excellent power handling... amazing details.
I have own them for five years, I still can not think of any.
I have the CS350 for five years, it is the best center speaker I have used. The dialogue of the movie is live like and the effects are excellent. The power handling is amazing... I run it with a Carver 500x-- 250 watts per channel... the explosions and the sudden input of power has never distorted the quality of sound.

Excellent dialogue and performance. You could not ask for more!
None that I have found.
I have listened to quite a few center channels before purchasing this one. It is very neutral and will fit into any system. The sound from it is incredible as I have a set of 6 foot pillars as the mains. In fact there is a Carver AV806X bridged mono (350+watts x 3 per ch) driving it. I love sci-fi and you can only guess at how loud my home is. It is awesome!

Nicely build and great power handling. Totally agree with the previous reviews.
Great big sound. Works like a real full time speaker (not like many "monkey job" cental chanel cut down speakers)!

Have owned the cs350 going on 8 years now and it produces great sound just like it did when I bought it new! Smooth sound and makes the transition from left, centre to right seemless! Can't ask for a better speaker.

Wide range frequency response. High efficiency.
12 years can't find one
I purchased this speaker in 1993/94/95 not sure exactly. I didn't even know it is still in circulation. This is one hell of a center channel speaker.

N/A with this one!
THIS IS THE BEST CENTER CHANNEL EVER! We bought this new when it first came out, back in june of 1994! We have been in love with the sound still today, nothing compares! Still going strong and without a problem!!

Great highs, great lows. wide sound field.
NONE that I know of.
I LOVE this speaker. I've owned it for over eight years now and have never been disappointed. I will admit, I'm a bit of a Polk audio nut so take that as you will. I recently replaced my RT800 front speakers with a pair of RTi10s and couldn't be happier. I considered upgrading my center as well to a newer model like the CSi5 but this thing just works so well. Is there any reason?

I purchased this speaker in 1997 and have never ever felt the urge or need to ever replace it. right now it is being driven by a NAD amp bridged to 400 hundred watts What more can I say it is the greatest center channel speaker ever produced.I have it matched with a pair of ls90 towers and a set of lsfx surrounds. what a company

Ageless style and sound. Turn it up to hear it at its best!
Binding posts are a little weak.
Bought this speaker used off eBay in 2004 to complement my LS90's and LSfX surrounds. Match's well and has provided years of quality entertainment.
