Strengths:

Dialog and other effects are, simply put, nailed to your listening position with great detail and clarity

Weaknesses:

Quality of materials used in construction make it exceptionally heavy, threatening to warp the top of my TV cabinet!! (HaHa) In other words, no weaknesses!

Review:

This was, for me , the last "link in the chain" as far as home theater was concerned, totally rounding out an already great sounding system. I opted for this over the CSi20 to go with my R50 mains, R15 surrounds, and PSW450 sub, and it made a world of difference (see my other reviews if interested).Polk has my total respect and awe for allowing me to put these speakers together for less than $1000.00, something I never thought possible for high quality speakers, if you believe what you read elsewhere. I'm hoping to listen to these for a long time.

Strengths:

This speaker handles anything given to it. It's clear, very crisp highs and listening to dialogue is lifelike.

Weaknesses:

Its a bit heavy, but so is yaht! nice things sometimes come in big packages.

Review:

I have had this center channel for about a year and a half and it is absolutely amazing! It has been put through the test with hundreds of movies and tons of music. Along with all my other polk speakers, POLK builds great products.

Review:

I had to replace my old center which was a non Polk product, with the CSI30. Everything sounds so much better with my system. I replace my sub and center at the same time. It makes me want to watch my entire DVD collection again. I am very happy with my purchase.

Strengths:

Superb center. Exellent power handling. Crisp sound at even the highest volumes.

Weaknesses:

Not with this speaker.

Review:

I bought this center with the little money I had, and it's been the best money i've spent. This speaker compares and even sounds better than most centers over the $500 range. This speaker blew away a $400 Bose center. I have become a true polk fan and I will stick with their speakers for a long time.

Review:

I looked for weeks to find a speaker, of this quality, in this price range. I found two other great speakers but they were $150 to $200 more expensive. They were not worth the money, because they did not do anything more for the ear, than the CSi30.

precise highs and mids direct the viewers attention to the tv screen; music listening is also excellent; excellent wood and cratsmanship

i bought this speaker purely on the reccomendation of the salesman at my local Circuit City and am truly amazed. The mids and highs are quite remarkable. The overall craftsmanship and quality of the materials used is also excellent. I will slowly be replacing the rest of the speakers in my system to Polks based on how satisfied I am with this speaker.

After comparing a large array of center channel speaker, I was sold on Polks csi 30. This truly is the best on the market. The dialogue in a movie will just pull you into the screen. It carries a wonderful spectrum of sound for your musical needs as well. Well done Polk

I purchased the CSi30 about two months ago to compliment my RTi70 mains and it was the best thing I could have done. The crystal clear sound enhances all types of music and video and makes it all come to life. Outstanding sound!

Strengths:

Strong midrange presence, dialogue is very clear and effortless. Great value for an outstanding center channel. Build quality and warranty are as usual, standard high points.

Weaknesses:

None.

Review:

This was my most anticipated purchase for the HT. I cannot believe the amount of movie that comes through this center channel! Outstanding speaker! Strong midrange and handles dialogue with not a single issue. This really is the standout in my HT setup. I would even entertain the thought of getting two of these for mains....but I won't.

I replaced a Paradigm CC50 with the CSi30 and it appears to blend more seamlessly with my front channel R50s. Dialogue is clear and midrange detailing is great. This is a remarkable speaker for the price!

Got this at Circuit City for $150 and must say that for the price this speaker is a monster. Crisp clear dialogue and blends very well with my mains which I am about to replace with either some RTI bookshelfs (haven't decided which model yet). A definite winner!
