Very fast and crystal clear.
Great sounding speakers that slam!!! Sounds good no matter what kind of music you listen to. Has the same great quality that every polk audio product I have ever heard has.

Clarity and Depth
Not as efficient as the Rockford 12's
2 of these replaced 2 very good Rockford Fosgate 12 woofers. Not only were they cleaner and sharper, which I expected, but they seem to go much lower, too. Perhaps it's because there no booming to mask the depth. It fits in much better with the other 10 classic polk speakers in my Volvo Station Wagon

Marine Quality Sub (needed for my open air Jeep) Very tight bass
None that I have found
I'm very pleased with this sub. Very tight bass in a Jeep, which is hard to do (Jeeps with rag tops aren't sealed) All in all, I'm happy with the way this sub sounds. I bought it because it's supposed to be "marine" quality. So, I'll be sure to let you know how it holds up in my Jeep.

durability and sound quality
none so far
replaced 2 10" mb quarts with 2 10" polk db104dvc.I noticed immediately a much tighter and smoother response than the mb quarts.Im running .76 cu.ft. per sub sealed and i'm impressed with the clarity and depth, plus these are the most durable subs iv'e ever had it would take a jackhammer to get through the cone.

Polk quality, top notch. Nice plain look.
Not that it needs more power handling, but it would add more versatility if it took more juice.
I have had one of these in a sealed enclosure for about 8 months now, hands down one of the best 10" performers I have ever had. These are built like a tank, and they dont need a ton of power to drive like crazy. POLK QUALITY.
