- Polypropylene cone with rigid ABS dustcap to stiffen the cone for greater mechanical stability and lower distortion.
- Marine Certified Polk db Series speakers are built tough to withstand the toughest environments so they are perfect for use in boats of all types. That's why Correct Craft offers Polk Audio speakers in their award-winning Nautiques ski and wakeboarding boats.
- Santoprene surround is impervious to extremes in temperature, humidity and exposure to sunlight for excellent long term reliability.
- Fire-retardant flat NOMEX Spider allows extended linear motion while providing highly reliable mechanical and thermal stability.
- Double venting of the 4-layer Kapton Voice Coil Former, Cone/Coil Coupler and Pole Piece contribute to the high power handling and reliability of the db Series subs.
- As with all Polk Audio subwoofers, the voice coil alignment, motor and suspension were optimized using a state-of-the-art Klippel laser analyzer. The result is superior cone travel linearity for flatter response and lower distortion.

i had two twelve inch rockford fosgate but these hit ten times harder and sound ten times better i strickly recomend this sub to anybody looking for a good deal and watts and watts of good sound.

I had 12 inch xplod and traded up to punch.The punch speakers lasted me about 1 year and they started sounding distorted.I saw that frys was having a special on 12 inch polks so i said what the hay lets try them.Oh my god these speakers sound great!I am totally happy with my purchase and will recommend these over any other speakers.

i have had two of these for a month the first one i had for two weeks the stoped working so the shop i bought it from replaced it and now i have had this one for about 2 weeks again and has done the same thing.

I was shopping for a single 12" sub and was comparing them all by sound and price. Couldn't find just what I wanted until I heard that Polk bandpass box with the dual DB124's in it. So I bought a single DB124 and built a box for it using the specs from the POLK site. Man that thing hits HARD! It's louder by itself than most dual 10's I've heard and it plays much lower and with perfect accuracy and thump. It literally blurs your vision when it hits a low note. It never bottoms out and never distorts a bit with only 300w RMS from my Profile amp.

Nice smooth bass. Sounds great with my 2 MOMOs. I blew 2 Fosgates and 2 kickers with the same amp running to one of these. If it says Polk on it I will stand behind it 100%

This sub is the best sub !!! hands down !!!! it has amazing bass and very clear sound ..I am amazed by the sound clarity !!! . Gr8 value for money .....i had a pioneer 126 DVC and was very hesitant to shift to polk . On recommendation of my dealer i got it installed . and i found that it was worth shift from a DVC to a SVC

Great sub. Has great low end bass. Light cone so its has tight punchy bass. I do believe that with this sub especially a ported box tuned fairly low would do best. Great sub for metal or rap. In my opinion it sounds better for rap/techno because of its increadible low end abilities but is a great choice for any listening preference. For the price by far the best sub I've ever heard.

This is a great sub. Very nice low end and it hits very hard.I have it in a 1.5 cubic foot ported box in a regular cab F-150 and when you wail on it, the seat either pounds or vibrates. A little distortion, but it is in a ported box. The break in is definately essential to this sub; after about 2 weeks of steady moderate power this sub was ready to go. Excellemt choice for any music, from classical to rock, country to jungle.

for the price this is a great sub. good design and ventalation, the subs can pound for hours.

would of liked 2 male spades per terminal, the svc only hase one for + and one for - 2 on each would have made multiple sub hook up easier.

i have four 12's and its really loud. there in a nice big ported box. these speakers are loud enough for me to be going to the local comps with them. for the money these subs are def. more than worth it! *I wasnt aloud to post a pic. sorry*
