Review:
these subs are a great deal. i bought the dual 12's in the vented box and intalled them in my 95 cutlass., I powered them with a alpine M850(850 rms)these subs are rated to handle around 320 rms or so and i had them bumping with my amp maxed! they can take a beating. but i did eventually blow both subs and only managing to save one of them by rewiring a new voice coil in it. im still using the one sub and just bought two 12 inch polk momos. polk is a excellent way to go if you want the best possible sound without paying a arm and a leg. deffinitly beats spending thousands of dollars on JL subwoofers garenteed.

I just purchased these for my '99 Crownline boat and absolutely love them. I replaced a blown pair of TREO 10 inch and these Polks blow them away.

just replaced 2 qpower 12s with these. they hit harder so far. still got the 800 watt amp, and im pretty sure its not pushing them real hard so im fixing to put a 2000 watt amp on them then they should shake my world.... these are the bust subs you can buy for a hundred bucks!

Review:
These are great sounding subs. I have them paired with a Boston Acoutics GT-2200 reference series amplifier wired at 2 ohms for around 900 watts rms. With this setup they sound very accurate and give enough punch to shake my whole care while still maintaining that great hum to hit midbass notes.

sound just as good as most high end audio equipment for way less. $70 average db single coil vs $250 average kicker solar single coil.
Weaknesses:
prone to blowing when used at average cont power of 400 watt 4 ohm.. went threw a few db's to make sure weakness was not a fluke.
Review:
i recently came into posesion of seven 12" single coil db series. i modified a dual housing kicker super bass limited witch was used for a spare set of 12" square solarbaricks to use the polk db"s.. wired them in tandem to a home 4 ohm 500 watt cont-1050 peak receiver. to my amazment they almost sounded similar. only difference the kickers could constantly run peak(of course) with no worries for average of 12 hrs but the db's had issues after 5 or 6 hrs on safe cont power(400 watt 4 ohm). as a custom audio installation expert its a good buy for first time sub owners looking to put some beat in the trunk. experienced owners or (competitions) not advised.
