When a 12 inch woofer just won't fit, here's your chance: a medium-size dX Sub for big bass in smaller spaces! Optimized for small sealed enclosures (.66 cubic foot), the dX10 delivers deep, tight, musical bass and a whole array of impressive features:
- Polymer and graphite composite cones -- the stiffest cones in the autosound industry! Able to withstand the enormous pressures generated inside small enclosures without breakup and distortion.
- High mass cones allow awesome low frequency tuning in small enclosures.
- Thick ABS dustcaps prevent the distortion that can be caused by the build up of air pressure behind the cap.
- High durometer rubber surrounds provide a much tighter and more durable air seal behind the cone than foam, paper, or cloth surrounds; for deep, tight, quick bass. Also, rubber surrounds don't dry rot like the foam surrounds used by other manufacturers.
- Extra long, precision wrapped and vented coils for superior cooling and high power handling.
- Four layer, 2" voice coil handles the heat generated when your amp is really cranking.
- Vented pole piece lets air circulate over the voice coil to keep it cool and in control even when the bass is really thumping.
- 8 Ohm and 4 Ohm versions available: Choose the impedance that suits your personal system design, including exotic isobaric and push-pull types.

These were the best speeakers on the market in 1999. They were the hardest ,quickest responding, loudest, and last but not least, cleanest sounding subs I have ever owned. They handled power...500 watt "T" class Alpine amplifier, not a problem at all for these subs. I have had alpines, Rockford fosgates, JL Audios, all the major upper end subs, but none of them hit as hard and tight as my cheap POLK dx10's. :)

These are some great subs. I've heard of problems with the spider seperating from the basket, but I have had no problems with mine. In fact, these are pretty hard to find. Super clean, super strong, just super subs. I love em'.

On one of my subs the lead to the voice coil fraded apart,but I'm buying another one.
Review:
I love these sub it pounds so hard I've had mine for 2 years and nothing comes close.My brother bought a set of Boston Pro ser.10"subs for $600.00 I'll tell ya the wattage might be big but the sound was very small compared to my subs which I spent awhole lot less and we are running the same amount of total power{410watt rms in a 2ohm load}and the same size encloser. VERY CLEAN SUB!

Review:
I've got two DX's hooked up to a mono block amplifier and they simply annihilate. For 300 watts RMS these subs are beasts. Not only are they loud as hell, but more importantly they sound amazing. The bass is crystal clear and the response time is extremley fast. These subs are perfect for every type of music from rap to heavy metal. I listen to heavy metal and they give me the tight, punchy, accurate sound I am looking for.
