DXi104 Features:
Dynamic Balance® driver technology for pure, distortion free sound.
Polymer woofer cones and butyl rubber surrounds will not break down over time and will survive the rigors of harsh automotive environments.
High temperature copper voice coil (50db) and polyamide former withstand the most rigorous use while maintaining extremely low distortion for bass punch and output.
Heavy duty input terminals accommodate speaker wire up to 8 AWG or twisted pairs of 12 AWG.
Advanced carbon composite basket based on the spokes of a wheel is lightweight, will not flex during peaks and looks great!
Klippel optimized components for the best possible performance, even at extreme listening levels.
Dual voice coil configuration (DXi104DVC) also available.

Cheap price for an awesome subwoofer. Won't break any windows but will rattle the trunk and sound good doing it.
Weaknesses:
I don't like the terminals on the dvc, it makes it harder to wire it in parrallel because it's not spring loaded and on has one post instaed of two.
Review:
I just got mine yesterday and these were my "temporary" subs since I had to sell my Orion hcca 10" for bills. It looks like these will be a long temporary set-up for me because I was shocked how loud they were and how clear they are. They are truely rated or underrated( as all Polk stuff is). You definately won't be dissapointed with these subs for the price... I would take it over alpine type r, Rockford p1's and p2's( maybe p3) and many other subs you find in stores

Went into a best buy just to look around and found these polks.....bought 2 of them to replace my lightning audios and it is a 100% difference in sound quality and just pure loud bass. Would highly recommend them!

Review:
This is a lot of subwoofer for the price. I have this 10 inch DXi104 svc in a 1.7 cu. ft. box for deeper bass instead of maximum loudness. With this set up, this sub does pipe organ very accurately [at least to my ears].

Just finished upgrading my 2012 Ford Focus. Put one of these in the back (hatch) in a .75 Cubic foot box. It rocks!! I am throwing 300 Watts at it and it loves the power. Sounds very solid, clean, tight, good bass. Hits as hard as my 2 kickers I had for 10 years. I am very happy with this and it is well worth the money. Sounds good with Rock, punk, hip hop, whatever you want to throw at it. I have it crossed over at 100Hz.
