DXi124DVC Features:
Klippel motor optimization uses laser measurement technology to ensure a smooth excursion path at either end of the volume spectrum for uniform performance at both low and high volumes.
Polk’s proprietary, patented Dynamic Balance® technology allows our engineers to design out distortion-causing driver and system resonances, so you only hear the good sounds.
Polymer woofer cones and butyl rubber surrounds will not break down over time and will survive the rigors of harsh automotive environments.
High temperature copper voice coil (50mm) and polyamide former stands up to the most rigorous use while maintaining extremely low distortion for bass punch and output.
Nickel plated heavy duty input terminals accommodate speaker wire up to 8 AWG or twisted pairs of 12 AWG.
Carbon composite basket based on the spokes of a wheel is lightweight, will not flex during peaks and looks great! Don’t be afraid to show off the back of your woofer.
Available matching grilles are availabe.

Just bought two 12" DXi subwoofers. Used them to replace blown Yamaha subwoofers in two 3-way home speakers (running them at 8omh). The sound is very impressive. The Polks handle high volume and maximum base with incredible ease. Glad I didn't get the Pioneers or Kenwoods. Good job, Polk.

Great all around sub, i have it set for 2 ohms on a 330 amp which is under powering it and its still sounds awsome.

I didn't get a sticker to represent Polk audio. (kind of depressing because all my friends have to ask what subs I have)
Review:
These subs are nasty! I have 3, 2 in a ported box in my car and 1sealed in the fianc?'s car. Absolutely pound, I have them hooked up run to 1 ohm pushing 700 rms together, I can't turn them up too loud or I wake up the neighbors.

Polk Audio has came through once again. This is one heck of a subwoofer! Hits every high and every low with PERFECTION, does not distort at all at high volumes, and with two built-in terminals on the cone you can wire it just about anyway that you see fit. Versatile, powerful, accurate, tough. These are hands down the best speakers I have ever owned... and all my buddies are jealous! BUY THIS SUB

i absolutely love this subwoofer don't think I'll ever buy anything but Polk I only have two problems with the sub both easily fixed 1 Specs say the terminals can handle one 8g or two 14g wires twisted together this isn't true I had to drill the hole bigger just to fit two twisted 14g wires and 2 I'm powering it with a 350 watt mono amp with gain control turn the gain past 1/2 and I get major distortion handles almost anything I can trow at it like deadmau5 skrillex and even tech n9ne
