Want a high performance speaker but want to keep things compact? Choose the DXi690 3-way. You get a woofer and super-tweeter for extended high-frequency response, along with a dedicated midrange driver for the absolutely crucial mid-frequencies. That extra mid-range creates more uniform sound overall, plus more warmth.

That rear deck is aching for thunderous loudspeakers like the DXi690 6x9-inch 3-way loudspeakers, featuring both a 25mm liquid-cooled dome tweeter and a 19mm super tweeter. Want more performance but don’t want to go the component route? Choose the DXi690 3-way. You get a woofer and tweeter, plus a dedicated midrange driver for the absolutely crucial mid-frequencies. That extra mid-range energy can create more uniform sound overall.

They cost a little more than speakers in the same class but the quality and sound is unsurpassed.

I went to a retailor intending to buy Infinity 6X9s..Until i heard these!!!They have amazing clarity of sound while being able to take as much power as you want to give them. They sound even better on my VTX motorcycle!!! Oh yeah they are Marine grade :)

Awesome sounding speakers, used these in a dodge caliber and they sound so much better then the stock ones that were in there. I give 2 thumbs up for these speakers.would recommend them to anyone.

I just installed these speakers today and I was a little worried because my truck came with the Infinity sound package and it sounded great. After installing these though the sound has been greatly improved! I am much happier with these speakers than the Infinity speakers. I'm waiting on my 5.25 inch speakers for the rear doors and tweeters for the dash but so far these two speakers alone have already improved the sound quality. I will never buy another brand of speakers. I even have Polk audio in my living room!

I went a local store and listened to several different 6x9 speakers. I picked these because even on the sound board they sounded the clearest. I drive a 1997 Honda Prelude. all sites said they wouldn't fit. Well somewhat true. I had to adjust the trunk tension bars so they did not come in contact with the magnet. I couldn't be happier with the sound quality of these speakers. Absolutely AMAZING sound!

I just put these speakers in my Chevy cobalt and they sound great they replaced a pair of Sony xplods that I had very happy with the sound quality I can finally hear the vocals over my subwoofers

Good highs, mids, and Bass even all the way turned up! Take that gangsta homies thumping away in the car next to me! HAHA!
Weaknesses:
Needs some sort of protective cover on the exposed resistor (?) near the input connectors. I've had to resoder and reglue in place this item twice since purchase due to the wife putting stuff in the trunk and breaking it off (damn HER! STOP STUFFING THE TRUNK!!!)

Awesome sound quality and clarity! I have got to say my favorite speakers I've ever purchased. I can't wait to get the front speakers changed to Polk Audio also and then run all new better wiring and amps for each speaker set (since my stero has 3 different amp outputs why not eh?).

I love the sound quality that these speakers give. I drive a Honda Accord, and compared to my old speakers, these are out of this world. I love the high bass it gives and the treble. I would HIGHLY recomend these for everyone.

Amazing speakers. Very crisp and clear sound. I have four DXi690 speakers in my '07 Dodge Caliber and I absolutely love them. They sound great with any genre of music. I have them hooked up with the PA660 amplifier which maximizes the power of the speakers. It sounds so good that people ask me if I have a sub also, but I don't. Highly recommended!!!
