The EX2560 features:

EXII speakers use materials that are usually found only in speakers costing much more. The butyl rubber surrounds help give them smooth midrange and extended bass response, and won't tear or crack like foam rubber surrounds found in other brands. The polymer composite cones in the midranges and woofers are moisture resistant and light -- yet extremely rigid for lightning quick response with extremely low distortion.

Midbass and midrange precise at high volumes. Highs sharp and clear at moderate volume.
Weaknesses:
Highs can get harsh at high volumes. (mind you, these are hearing damage volumes)
Review:
These are great speakers for their price. They have been giving off sweet sound for four years driven with clean power from 100W RMS/ch amp above 150hz 12db/oct. They blend flawlessly with a 12" EX sub in a sealed box receiving 100W RMS below 75HZ. Polk should revive the EX series!!!

Nice lows and highs. Great component system. Good midbass. Great sound production. They are efficent speakers. so they sound great with 50 watt rms power and awesome with 100 watt rms power.
Weaknesses:
None that I have encountered in the last 3 years.
Review:
Great speakers. Sound better then speaker costing twice as much. Clean and punchy sound. I have been using these speakers for 3 years and I have yet to hear any better speakers for the price. Started running them with a Rockford Fosgate 50 watt rms amp and they ran great. They are very efficent speakers. Upgraded to a 100 watt rms amp per channel and they loved the power. They sound even better. Better mid bass response with the added power.
