No bass handling-but hey, they're 4x6's, what do you expect.
Review:
Great mids. Be forewarned-if you're looking for bass in the front of your vehicle-find another avenue. These won't hold up. If you're looking to crank to deafening levels at frequencies over 160hz-these are it.I have these paired with Apline 6x9's(all run with Alpine f307 50Wx4 rms @ 14.4V amp) and the setup is awesome. After adding two polk gnx104's pushed by a California Profile 600MSX-my system is complete. Three thumbs up.

i have these in the rear of my car.using alpine 9813 with bass engine pro so i can set the frequencies i want to each speaker.i have it set at 80hz cut off.and let me tell you with the 27 rms my deck puts out these babies scream.i have excelon 5.25 in front and these drown them out so i had to fade to front for proper imaging.hell with excelon's i am going to get a 5.25 set of db polks for front since they dont make 5.25 db components yet.polk has really impressed me if this is their low end stuff?imaging what their high end stuff is like.well i am going to find out.i just oredered the db's and a momo sub...
