Great quality sound especialy in the mids and highs.
Weaknesses:
Bass is adequate but would like to have more but then again that's what a sub is for.In my truck though there is no place for a sub and these speakers surfice just fine.
Review:
I recently purchased the polkGXR69 for my 2002 Dode Ram quad door to replace the speakers in the front doors and could not beleive the difference they made over the stock speakers which were only a month old.I am running them behind a Kennwood am/fm cd/mp3 player.I cant wat untill my next payday to replace my rear speakers

Replaced the stock speakers in my Acura perfectly without any chopping whatsoever. Good bass, clear, crisp mids & highs. Simply stated, 'Great Music to my ears'. Takes power well! Thanks Polk Audio, very much !!

Review:
I just installed a pair of Polk GXR69's in the rear deck of my `95 Acura Legend last week. (My Acura came stock with a high-end Bose system). Talk about awesome sound !!! What a night & day difference ! Bass was pretty bad with the stock Bose 'Paper' 6x9's', (almost none), but now with my Polk GXR69's, I can rattle the neighbor's front windows! High's are so crisp and clear I almost forgot how good tunes should sound. From Mozart to Queen, and everything in between, I'm extremely happy I took the advice of my audio specialist and went with Polk !!

Review:
I was not impressed with Polk Home Audio Speakers that, when the sales clerk suggested I try them, I was a bit skeptical. They proved me wrong, totally. Excellent choice matched to a JVC car radio. Do I recommend? Come on. Do the necessary and spend the $100!!! :)

this speakers are totally rad for the money. I first started out with my factory speakers but i just wanted more high's, so i wanted to go with a good brand so i dedided to give polk a try. They rocked so now i have polk 6*9, 4*6 and i always have 2, 12" momo subs and let me tell u something they THUMP i love them

Review:
I replaced these with some bs speakers i got from ebay. The speakers were supposed to handle 700 watts. Thats right 700 WATTS. These speakers kicked its ass the second they were in my car. All I can say is WOW!!!!! Great Great speakers for the price and for quality. GO POLK, all the way!!!!!!!!!

Kick ass speakers. In my car they sound better than any bose speaker i've herd. if i had my pick i would choose a polk audio speaker any day over bose. i'v had people ask me if i had a system in the trunk of my car
