I have this in a .7cuft sealed box that is braced with some poly fill. Zapco C2k 2.0 amplifier crossed over at 90hz. Im really impressed with this subwoofer. the bass is deep and tight and it blends well with my front speakers (Dynaudio).

Review:
Recently received a pair of these through Crutchfield in exchange for a pair of Infinity Perfect 10.1's that had let go on me in a little over a year. With the above being known, I am extremely satisfied with the peformance of these especially in the recommended .66 sealed enclosure, above and beyond my expectations, especially considering how "lite-weight" they are. In closing these have me thinking,if these are that good at this price range, I can only imagine how good the SR. series sounds!

Small enclosure requirements and big sound.
Weaknesses:
less low end than even older 12" subs. The optional grills are massive.
Review:
I have an 03 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, and after 6 years with a single Kicker 12” L7 in a custom box, it was decided for me that we needed the space behind the center console where the sub sat. Luckily I was informed that the rear foot wells were fair game. I have never been keen on downsizing the cone area from 12 to 10, but the available space made that choice for me. I purchased 2 MM1040 subs and put them in .75’ boxes. I stapled about an inch of polyfill sheets to all sides. After installing a single sub to see how it sounded, I was a little put off. A single MM1040 can’t compete with the single 12” L7, not even close. I then installed the second MM1040, and was impressed. Funny how twice the speaker adds up to a lot more than twice the sound. I’d say the volume is much louder than the L7, and much clearer, but they do not hit as low, there is a very distinct difference. After the initial test, I added to the existing polyfill. I added an additional 4” loose to the rear of the enclosure and it improved the low end. I’m an old 80’s metal head, thrash mostly, so you get an idea of the type of music I listen too. Overall I’m very happy, much more volume, they seem less sloppy, but I did lose a bit on the low end. I’ll have to break out my old Techmaster P.E.B. CD and have some fun.

Review:
finally got my new MM1040 in to replace my very old Orion XTR10svc and the difference is incredible. its running off the rear channels bridged mono of a Polk PA500.4 and i didn't change any settings on the amp from old to new sub. this sub has so much more impact, tighter punch, more... everything! maybe this is because i can turn the volume up much louder without it distorting like the old sub did. one of the best sounding 10" subs i've heard. especially one that is this shallow.

Weaknesses:
Cant find any
Review:
I bought this sub looking for the best possible sounding subwoofer that is shallow to fit in the back of my F 150 under back seats. The sub by far is the best sound quality i have ever heard with deep strong lows that sound deeper than my old 12" memphis prs. Have it running of a alpine amp gettin about 350 watts rms 4 ohms sounds amazing for any type of music.
