Housed in a diamond-polished MOMO Arrow cast aluminum basket, the MM465 6.5" driver features a poly/mica composite cone, airtight Elastomer rubber surround and flat, bulletproof (we mean, they make bulletproof vests out of this stuff, honest!) Aramid Fiber spider for more than torture-proof durability; you'll hear rock solid mid-bass response and lifelike midrange detail, all pouring forth through the unique "billet-style" open grille. Polk/MOMO is built tough and backed by a three year Parts and Labor warranty, the best warranty in the car speaker world.
The component system features the MM400 Dome Tweeter, and the beautiful new Polk Audio/MOMO Crossover.
You can plainly see (and hear) the benefits of the new MM System Crossover: Mylar capacitor/air core inductor tweeter components for better transparency. Polypropylene capacitor/laminated steel midrange components handle high current without saturation for more dynamic impact. 12dB/octave slope with midrange bypass, 3-position tweeter attenuation for the ultimate in flexibility. The MM465 Componet set rocks!! I had a set of infinity reference and i also had a set of polk audio GXR. After installing the MM465 I cranked my stereo up and didn't hear any distortion in high or low volumes. I haven't heard anything this good. They are worth the money.
