MM571 Features:
Space age materials reduce weight of components while offering rock solid reliability, advanced looks and ultra high performance.
Neodymium magnets a rare earth metal offering exceptional strength to performance ratio, found only in the most exotic speakers, saves tremendous weight. Don’t let the sound system weigh your vehicle down. Since the magnet is smaller, the speaker can fit into more applications.
Carbon composite basket based on the spokes of a wheel is lightweight, will not flex during peaks and looks great! Don’t be afraid to show off the back of your speaker.
Woven glass composite cones feature tremendous stiffness-to mass ratio. Lower mass means faster transients and finer detail.
Klippel optimized components using a state-of-the-art Klippel distortion analyzer, Polk engineers were able to optimize the woofer’s motor structure, voice coil alignment and suspension for the best possible performance, even at extreme listening levels.
Marine Certified Polk MM Series speakers are built tough to withstand the toughest environments so they are perfect for use in boats of all types. That’s why Correct Craft offers Polk speakers in their award-winning Nautiques ski and wakeboarding boats.
Large-diameter voice coils (30mm) in drivers increase reliability and power handling capacity.
All Polk products are made using the best materials and the most advanced manufacturing techniques. They pass the industry’s most exhaustive quality tests, including drop testing, extreme signal response and UV & salt exposure testing. Polk loudspeakers are built to perform for a lifetime.

Great sound, very light and a very small but powerful magnet.
Weaknesses:
Nothing.... yet
Review:
These speakers are very clear, some of the clearest that i have ever heard. I have them in my 03 Ford Taurus with a kenwood flipout indash. The only thing i would recommend is getting an amp (500.4 amp) This speaker lacks some bass with the in dash amp. Crossovers are very easy to install and they split the sound perfectly. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality sounding product.

They are AMAZING! Separate crossovers make you feel "official". Neodymium magnets are small and powerful. Sound is produced with so much clarity, as with all Polk products.
Weaknesses:
NONE! Polk Audio is AWESOME!
Review:
Amazing speakers! My old Infinity speakers are no match compared to these. I have them in the back of my truck and they make my Rockford Fosgate Punch speakers in the front sound like crap, so I have the sound faded to the back more. I am definitely going to be getting some Polk Audio speakers for the front. I love the separate crossover because it separates the mids and highs perfectly between the tweeter and the woofer. I have not even hooked them up to an amp yet, and they still sound amazing. Can't wait until I get an amp to hook them up to. I have not heard music in this much detail and clarity before. I love Polk Audio!

Good clarity and strong midbass.
Weaknesses:
None so far unless you're comparing them to a much more expensive speaker.
Review:
At their price point the mm571's are the best coaxial 5 x 7's that I've ever listened to. Crisp, but not harsh highs, clear mids with strong mid bass, and a decent amount of low end for a 5 x 7. I'm giving them 85 watts rms and they are loud as hell. I need to dynomat my doors because of the midbass kick.

Great quality/ clarity sound and economical pricing
Weaknesses:
None. No grills.
Review:
I just tested these speakers out at the Sound Center. With only 2 of them playing, with no amp, just deck power, they sound amazing and so loud! I am putting 4 of these in my truck with my Pioneer Subs. This will be so nice, I am very excited! Extremely nice clarity and quality. I can't wait!

Solid performance... I would put these up some much pricier speakers without hesitation
Weaknesses:
A little lacking in low end.. But for a 5x7.. They have ample transient attack. I would however go with a sub if you intend on pushing them.
Review:
I bought these speakers a year ago for a system I was putting into my Ford Explorer. I fell in love with them... AMAZING.. Paired with a custom made box with two Polk MM 10's Driven by a Alpine pdx-m6 and a Alpine pdx-f4 for the 4 mm-571's. This is a no compromise system imho. I was cutom installer for several years before becoming a CNC programmer/Machinist. This system is without a doubt one of the finest pairings in car sound systems I have seen to date. I give props to Polks amps.. But I was very restricted on space and the Polk amps were a little to long for my my placement locations(I did try them) But the MM 571's are out of this world... I ended up trading in my Explorer on a new Dodge Journey. The factory door speakers in the Journey are 6x9's. But it is nearly impossible to find a 6x9 that fits(mounting depth). So I ended up laser cutting mounting plates so I could use the 5x7's in the 6x9 locations. They came out great! I powder coated the plates black and drilled and tapped the mounting screw locations. I'm really happy I stayed with the 571's. You will be very happy with these speakers if paired with a sub or two. I PROMISE!!
