This high efficiency floorstanding speaker is the flagship of the high performance Monitor Series. Its multi-driver design and non-resonant enclosure delivers the classic Polk sound (open, spacious and clear), even when driven by modestly-powered amplifiers and receivers. Its size guarantees a bold, realistic audio experience whether you’re building an extreme home theater or a sensitive stereo system.
Monitor 75T Features:
1-inch (25mm) silk/polymer composite Dynamic Balance® dome tweeter with powerful neodymium magnet structure delivers clear and detailed high frequency response for realistic reproduction of vocals and instruments.
Four 6-1/2-inch composite Dynamic Balance drivers are lightweight and stiff with good damping for high efficiency, excellent bass and lower distortion.
Multiple small-diameter driver design delivers wide dispersion, better mid-range, and more detailed bass response for an open, box-less, three-dimensional sound.
Non-resonant all-MDF enclosure construction with 3/4-inch thick baffles ensures cleaner, clearer, more lifelike sound quality. Tower models feature additional front-to-back and side-to-side internal bracing for further reduced resonance.
Crossovers use Mylar bypass capacitors for more detailed high frequencies.
Dual 5-way binding post connectors, allowing for more secure hook-up options, as well as bi-wiring and bi-amping flexibility.
Monitor Series speakers are "modern living accessories" that make a stylish statement in either black or cherry wood grain finish, with titanium faces.
Critically tuned flared port minimizes port noise (chuffing) for good low frequency extension with low distortion, resulting in natural, full-bodied sound with rich bass.

I purchased my 75Ts on sale at $220 each. The overall value to cost relationship of this product is impressive. These speakers do perform and exceed at filling the acoustic balance needed for both music and entertainment reproduction.
Weaknesses:
Though well ported and meeting my needs for a second room utility, the 20-35 khz range is a little out of reach using 6.25 subs for a large room environment. But that is why audio providers make powered sub woofers and audio fie speakers.....Dahhhh
Review:
Upgrading my master bedrooms audio was an easy choice after an extensive on-line audio line up. I picked the Monitor 75Ts on sale and received exactly what my research promised. Exceptionally clear and bright mid-range and high performance and a very adequate low frequency response. I am using the 75Ts in a scaled back home theater environment for the master bedroom and they are a perfect overall fit for size, aesthetic design, audio performance and my final purchasing trigger, Price Vs. Value for a targeted room application. Up grading the living-room to a 4-K AV ready environment my leftover and plenty of power Pioneer VSX-1015TX amp found its way to another room to drive two Bose 301s. The 301s did not fair well in the mid-range environment as a two way with emphasis on highs and lows. AVE (Audio Video Environment) necessitates broad spectrum balance and the Polk Monitor 75Ts wrap their arms around this challenge. Job well done!

You will definitely need a subwoofer. But even without one, your house will shake!

I'm using 5 Polk Audio Monitor 75 for my home theater. Great sound! My girlfriend think the sound is too loud... My neighbors hate me... :) The sound is crisp and clear. Using one as center and the voice of the actors is perfect.

Is this site owned by polk ?. I see 2 different values in your site for product monitor 75T - 5.5 inch on the front and 6.5 inches in the Spec. Which one is right ?.
