The PA1100.5 has enough channels and power to run your entire system. A common setup is to run 4 full range speakers and one subwoofer. You can even bridge the subwoofer channel to a PA600.1 for even more power!

125 Watts x 4 (2 ohm) and 600 x 1 (1 ohm) continuous power; 250 x 4 (2 ohm) and 1200 x 1 (1 ohm) dynamic power. CEA-2006 compliant specifications for true, accurate power ratings.
2 ohm stable 4-channel operation and 1 ohm stable on mono subwoofer channel.
Super efficient class D pulse-width modulation amplifier design. Draws less power and runs cooler so you won’t heat up the inside of your vehicle or make the headlights dim.
High-speed MOSFET switching power supply and high current bipolar output transistors pump maximum voltage and high current to your speakers or subwoofers.
Double layer fiberglass epoxy printed circuit boards for more rigidity and less shrinkage, with plated through-holes instead of jumpers, for twice the amount of component contact area. Efficient layout packs more circuitry, with tighter component tolerances, into a smaller circuit board for a smaller overall amp footprint.
6-way Smart System Protection (SSP) circuits: Power and ground-reversal protection, thermal and short protection, current overdraw and low impedance protection circuits with auto-standby mode ensure safety, reliability and durability.
Anodized extruded brushed-aluminum cover for maximum heat dissipation and great looks!
Cast aluminum textured end caps for optimized heat dissipation and hiding of connectors. Solid aluminum logo and model panel back lit in cobalt blue.
Fully adjustable 12 dB/octave high or low-pass crossover. Defeatable for full range (flat) operation (front and rear channels only).
Switchable 24 dB/octave subsonic filter protects ported subwoofers (subwoofer channel only).
Switchable 8 dB bass boost at 40Hz for extra bass thump.
Variable input gain optimizes match with different signal sources (250mv to 7.5V).
Mounting hardware with rubber isolation grommets and extra fuses included.
Light bar/fan output-Connect an optional LED light bar or cooling fan for custom installations.
Multi-color status LED gives instant information on amplifier operation.
Remote subwoofer level adjuster for subwoofer channel included.

Review:
Wow, I'm into Sound Quality, I bought this amp as an upgrade of my JL amp, I'm running a set of Polk Momo 6.5 Components in the doors with an active crossover using the 4ch and (2) Premier 10" subwoofers on a sealed box on the mono channel, Pioneer P800PRS as a HU. Let me start saying that the mono channel is wired @ 2ohms and it moves those subwoofers LOUD with a PUNCH that makes your nose tickle. The sound quality is amazing at any volume, I tested a friends 15" subwoofer @ 1ohm on the mono channel and it was to much for my ears. This is the perfect amplifier for a complete system with power to spare, good for sound quality or just LOUD SOUND. I think in my opinion that this amp is under rated in RMS power. I have a 2007 Mazda 6, I don't have a capacitor for this amp, my normal voltage is 14.3v and when the amp is at full power it goes down to 13.5v and after a long beating is not even warm.

some may think its a little large, but no trouble fitting it into an lancer evo 9 boot.

hi scott here from elite car sound in canberra, australia. ive been a polk retailer for a number of years now. when the new pa1100.5 can into stock we dropped one into my evo 9. its running a set of sr6500 bi amped in the front and 2 momo 10" dvc's wired to one ohm. the system is tuned for SQ, and is very easy on the ear with great dynamic range. many people had some questions when directed purchased polk, i for one are very happy with the build quality of all the new polk products and will remain a committed polk retailer.

I installed this in a Ford F-150 crew cab and it is AWESOME! With Momo Front & Rear with Momo Subs 12" subs under the back seat it is incredible. The sub section is more than enough power for me and should be great for anybody. And the amp cover is gorgeous. Good Job Polk!

It has decent power to run an entire sound system, the sub portion of the amp is 1 ohm capable.
Weaknesses:
The amplifier is way too big, there is lots of engine noise I had to turn the gains all the way down to minimize it. I knew some of the problem was the electrical system of my vehicle. However, I installed the same amp in a 2007 Toyota 4Runner Sport and that had the same engine noise problems.
Review:
I have installed lots of amplifiers in my day, and I have had lots of sound systems in my vehicles over the years and I was really excited to order this amp and Polk DB component speakers and Polk DB 6x9's and a old subwoofer that I had laying around. The amp was huge but space wasn't an issue in my 2007 Dodge Magnum.
