How Low Can You Go?
Slightly smaller in overall size, but no less impressive in dealing out the deep bass effects, the PSW110 is the best subwoofer to complete your music or movie system in a mid-sized or smaller room. Beautiful furniture-grade black or cherry finishes stylishly match your decor.
PSW110 Features:
Heavy-duty MDF enclosure is designed and engineered for perfect volume, minutely tuned for distortion-free low frequencies, and internally braced and damped to eliminate internal standing waves and other performance-robbing resonances.
This unique configuration uses a specially tuned and directed port to produce maximum bass impact, using your floor as more than just something to stand upon. This is bass you will feel, from your feet up. Downward-firing ports also keep the cabinet’s front profile as sleek as possible.
Unique driver materials, speaker geometry and enclosure construction techniques that actually produce cleaner, clearer sound is at the heart of our patented Dynamic Balance® process. It means PSW subwoofers perform effortlessly in high stress, big bass situations when you need them most.
PSW Series subwoofers outperform the competition with durable, resonance-free Dynamic Balance driver materials that stay stiff and move fast. You experience deep, musical low frequencies and thrilling effects with superior system blending.
Our state-of-the-art Klippel distortion analyzer optimizes the woofer’s motor structure, voice coil alignment and suspension for smooth, unimpeded movement over a broad spectrum of the lower frequencies to ensure the best, most efficient performance even at extreme listening levels.
Easily accessible, professional-grade (unfiltered) LFE, line- and speaker-level inputs, and speaker level outputs, allow easy connection to any system.
Smart sensing circuitry knows when to turn itself on and off. Superior compression circuitry limits distortion at extreme volume levels. Intelligent amplifier also features adjustable low-pass crossover, phase switch & subwoofer volume controls to professionally control your bass output and the sub’s blending characteristics with your front stage speakers.
PSW Series subwoofers blend perfectly with systems composed of other Polk loudspeakers, especially TSi, RM and R/T/M Series speakers.
Unique design keeps your subwoofer stable and steady even at radical volume levels, for more efficient use of power. No more “escaped washing machine” syndrome.
All Polk products are made using the best materials and the most advanced manufacturing techniques. They pass the industry’s most exhaustive quality tests, including drop testing, extreme signal response and UV & salt exposure testing. Polk loudspeakers are built to perform for a lifetime.

Great response for both HT and music. Impressive output, good aesthetics and a reasonable price point.
Weaknesses:
Bass can get overly boomy without a bit of time to tune it correctly. This is true with practically any subwoofer of course, but should be noted. We only wish we had a sealed version as an option as well for greater control, tightness and accuracy at high power.
Review:
Love this sub - we've got it set up on wood floors, together with a modest Tsi tower/center/surround system. The bass is very clean and relatively tight for a ported unit. Output is quite high and we generally keep it set around 30-40% which works perfectly with our Denon Audyssey set-up. Tonally, my wife and I both *much* preferred this sub over the "better" PSW111 - we assume due to the latter's smaller 8" driver. The PSW110 was simply more articulate and musical. It's also $50 less.

Review:
To start off with, I'm not a home theater guy. I bought this Subwoofer to compliment my music system, (I'm spinning primarily Vinyl). I own a pair of Polk Audio Monitor 70's and while excellent, they were still missing some bottom end, (I listen primarily to Classic Rock, Jazz, Blues, etc.). Like many here, I didn't know what particular Subwoofer to buy, (I never owned one). I just knew I wanted something "musical" that wasn't going to be muddy and boomy. I started off with the Yamaha (YST-SW216BL) Subwoofer, and it was everything I didn't want. It sounded unnatural and exaggerated. I then bought the Polk PSW 10, (I didn't need much bass, just fill in). In short, the PSW 10 couldn't handle the job, (I live in a condo with a roughly 14' by 13' medium sized living room) and the PSW 10 just got lost in there no matter where I placed it. I then decided to pony up the extra cash for the PSW 110, and voila! I got the sound I wanted. With my Yamaha R-S 700 receiver putting out a rated 100WPC, I have the Polk Subwoofer power set to just over 50%, and I find it to be more than adequate. It puts out tight clean bass without disturbing the neighbors, (or shattering the windows). The auto standby feature is nice too, (it automatically powers down so you don't have to manually turn it off after each use). On a tight recession budget, the Polk PSW 110 Subwoofer makes for a tremendous value. Hope this helps. Enjoy the music! Adam

Review:
Wow this sub is great!!! I currently have the 5.1 Bose Acoustimass Speaker System and it sounds real good but I didn't feel that I received that powerful bass when I watch movies and so I decided to get this sub since I was tight on money and the price wasn't too expensive. When I hooked it up to my Harmon Kardon AVR 254 I couldn't believe how great this sub sounded!!! I was so impressed with it, I feel like I am at the theater!!

Review:
A very good speaker for a home theater system. The bass is powerful and tight, especially for a speaker of this size. It is well worth the money. It has no problem filling my 20' x 16' x 10' family room with good bass.

Tight sound with both music and movies - if you take the time to dial it in.
Weaknesses:
None so far!
Review:
Great looking cabinet, great sound at a nice price point. Added it to a pair of Polk TSi300 for an excellent combo. Some have labeled this sub "flabby" or underpowered. Not so! Like with any quality gear you have to spend the time to dial it in to fit your system. Once you do the results are impressive.

It matches my Polk speakers.
Weaknesses:
Underpowered and its not very musical
Review:
I have TSI400s for fronts, CS20 as center, and TSI200s as surrounds. Polk speakers sound great for the value. However, I cannot say the same for Polk subwoofers. I have a PSW10 and a PSW110. Much as I want to have an all Polk system, Polk's subwoofers are a bit underpowered and its not very musical. For the money, a BIC F12 provides more bang for your buck.

It takes a bit of tweaking to set controls to your taste in bass parameters. But weel worth it.

everything is good about this subwoofer, very good cost also.
Weaknesses:
there is none, except it looks a little plain but that doesnt count when it sounds so beautiful
Review:
This is the best subwoofer that i have owned to date. Doesnt distort at extremely high volumes, doesnt over power other speakers, hits the lows very nice and produces very tight punchy bass and can produce boomy bass for those who want it. it has more then enough power for my 15x12x9 room.

Absolutely amazing bass, nice and tight.
Weaknesses:
I wish it had the same connections as the 12" model.
Review:
An amazing value. This little speaker really rocks. It is incredible for home theatre use, but surprisingly, also works great with music. I wish they would provide the same connections it's "big brother" has, but for the money you can't miss with this speaker. Thank you Polk Audio!

I purchased one for my sister, became envious and replaced my Kenwood (it was time anyway)...I will not have to ever see the inside of a movie theater again; I can feel the action again; get one and you will not be disappointed; give it two hours and the system really wakes up!!
