The PSW300 powered subwoofer features:
- The same robust Dynamic Balance® subwoofer driver as used in the SRT subwoofer
- Video shielded driver for safe placement next to TVs
- High Velocity Compression Drive® bandpass tuning technology for superior deep bass extension and control from a small enclosure
- Patented Power Port venting for powerful bass with low noise and distortion
- 5-way binding post speaker inputs for secure large gauge wire termination
- High and low level inputs allow the PSW300 to be easily connected to any system
- Built-in high pass filter (low level outputs only) enables low bass to be filtered from the main speakers for greater dynamic range and lower distortion
- High current amplifier with auto on/off circuit
- Overload protection circuitry for safe, high volume performance

okay, this subwoofer is AMAZING it may only be 125 watts, but it THUMPS. ive had this subwoofer for like over 8 years maybe? i dunnot but its amazing it rocks the WHOLE house and the sound is soo crisp and deep. it really is an amazing product. heck if i had a car i would put it in there HAHA, but its my parents though... but dam this thing is soo good. especially when you watch movies, it hits at the right moment and it is presice, and never rumbles or gives a bad sound. WOW really amazing product.

Amazing subwoofer with amazing power and sound. I have owned this for 6 years, and have never ceased to be amazed with the sound. The boom spreads well such that I can hear it from anywhere in my sizeable family room, no distortion, no port noise, clean and tight. It is particularly amazing with action movie.

boom factor, solid pounding bass and still can deliver the subtle rumbles that go through your chest
Weaknesses:
The "glue" on my speaker surround came loose after about 2 years (this was about 13 years ago). I reglued it and it is still pounding today. I can't believe that my hack fix is still holding up to thousands of hours of movies and music! LOVE POLK!
