Amazing sound and stylish design. Looks great around the Samsung DLP.
Weaknesses:
Comes with fixed wall mount brackets, but it would be nice for a product in this price range to come with mounting brakcets that you could aim to the listening position (Omni-mount brackets).
Review:
This system sounds great! The clarity is amazing, but what impresses me the most is the fullness of the sound. After much research, I ordered the RM20 from Crutchfield. I have to admit that I was skeptical about how the midrange would sound, but I was truly amazed. Because my room was pre-wired for surround sound, I didn't have the luxury of using Polk's recommended hookup. I have the sub pre-out of my Onkyo-502 receiver going straight into the LFE input on the sub. This particular receiver has an adjustable crossover so it was easy to blend the small speakers with the sub that way.

Quality of construciton and sound.
Weaknesses:
Rear speaker mounts that come with system are not adjustable. Adding the Omnimate speaker mounts with this package would be the icing on the cake.
Review:
I'm amazed at the sound quality. I'm hearing sounds in movies that I never heard before. You feel like you're a part of the movie with this system. I'm using an Onkyo 6.1 receiver and the system is installed in a 17'x17' living room that has 10' ceilings. I would have rated the system a "5" if the speaker mounts provided would have been adjustable such as the Omnimate mounts that I had to purchase separately.

Sound. Glorious sound.
Weaknesses:
Get the omni-mounts.
Review:
This is my first sub/sat speaker system. I have 7.1 set-up powered by an HK 635. The precision, the clarity, the range really, really surpised me. I was ready for somewhat 'flat-ish' or unfull sound. The sub delivers. The 201's (2 speaker sats) deliver. This system, for the money, does not disappoint. If you're looking for a system with big speaker sound that don't require a big footprint - look no further.

I debated on adding to my Polk R-15 bookshelves but space limited my choice. I was pleasantly surprised to find this system BLEW ME AWAY at home. It's great!

Full rich sound, better than most. Strong center channel. Pretty to look at.
Weaknesses:
A prepacked 7.1 option should be available so eager owners can take home the whole thing the same day. (Haven't found a weakness for my application.)
Review:
We love our RM20!! We added a set of RM201's to fill out the 7.1, and are running the system from an Onkyo TXNR801. Absolutely incredible!! Very full and rich sound with a distinct center channel. The sub gets deep and stays tight. We purchased this system specifically for home theatre and have not tried it for music listening. Not only does the RM20 perform well beyond our expectations, the set looks outstanding mounted on the walls. Clean, classic look. I can only imagine what the larger Polk Audio systems are like. We finished the lower level of our 3 year old home and included a theatre room in the design. This set and the mounts met our application perfectly. I did not need omnimoutns, and the amount of swivel achieved with the included mounts was enough to angle the rear channel. So, I cant take any marks off for the mounts, and I have to add that the mounts may not actually be a requirement for your application as some of the other reviews suggest.

This speaker system is an upgrade from a Sony micro speaker system. It's a major improvement in sound quality. Aside from movies sounding better, music CD sound is also greatly improved.

Incredible clarity at high and low ends. And I did not find better sound at even higher prices.
Weaknesses:
Adjustable mounts for the rear speakers would have been nice.
Review:
For the first time in my adult life: equipment that performs better at home than in the show room! The quality of the sound is nothing less than spectacular. Months after installing them my wife and I are still remarking to each other how amazing things sound.

Price,Sound,Look and it's Polk.As a teenager it was and still is the bomb,I'm in my 40's.
Weaknesses:
Wall mount. Go Omni Mount for sure.
Review:
Bought the Denon 3806 to go with my new 62" DLP,had to get new speakers.Like Jim W. I was impressed with the sound at the store, they cranked Gladiatior, but not with the power the Denon has.At home it rocked hooked up to the Denon.I'm deaf in one ear so I purchased an extra center speaker to add to the back with the rear speakers (just combined wires with "center speaker hook-up in receiver") it's awesome. I can hear every word.

Great sound quality. Good value.

Not so good for general music listening.
Review:
When I bought this system, I was originally looking at a Bose setup. Just for kicks I tried them side by side with these and there was NO comparison. The clarity and detail were unbelievable. Plus, they were half the price. I was leary of buying a satillite setup as my system pulls double duty as a HT and a regular stereo. I expressed this concern to the sales rep and he said "not worry, the sub will fill in the bottom end for those small speakers". So, I purchased these. I got them home and they sounded great with movies. Music on the other hand is hit or miss. Music on these speakers sounds great as long as the tune you are enjoying doesn't have a strong bass line; if it does, the sats will get all distorted even at moderate volume levels. I will be upgrading the fronts to a set of full-range speakers in the near future.

Review:
These speakers are truly awesome. They make you feel totally entrenched in the movie just like at the theatre. I have them hooked up to my Yamaha HTR5940 Receiver and the highs and lows are truly unbeleivable
