Sound that astonishes the ear from speakers that seduce the eye.
The sound produced by the RTA8TL is "open", free from box-like coloration. Music, produced by these speakers will seem three-dimensional and have a smooth accurate quality with excellent transient response. This is accomplished by:
•Tri-laminate polymer mid-bass drivers.
•SL2500 tri-laminate dome tweeter.
•Ported cabinet to allow for deep bass response from a medium sized cabinet.
•Innovative Polk Audio technologies, such as line source and coincident radiation alignment. Two 6.5" mid-bass drivers are placed above and below a single 1" dome tweeter to create a cohesive, realistic sounding line source instead of a dimished "point source". The innivative crossover design sends different audio bands to the two drivers eliminating any errors to the all important frequency response.
