The clutter-free, goes-anywhere solution to adding home theater excitement to any flat panel TV: The SurroundBar 4000 IHT with its matched wireless subwoofer. How easy is it to set up a SB4kIHT? Put it on the shelf in front of your TV. Put it on the shelf just above your TV. Use the keyhole slots and easy template to mount it on the wall above or below your wall-mounted TV; it’s as lightweight and simple to hang as a picture! Put the compact wireless subwoofer anywhere you please, including inside a piece of furniture. Then, simply connect the SurroundBar to your TV with the supplied connector, connect a source or two, and plug the SurroundBar and the subwoofer into a wall outlet. Review:
Just got the soundbar 4000 and love it. It was ridiculously easy to set up. Took longer to tear down the old system and remove it. The sound is rich and powerful for blu ray dvd's and even makes regular tv audio pop. Plus it looks good...but being almost invisible.

No mounting hardware. As this is my first I have nothing to compare it to. We will just have to see if it is long lasting.
Review:
Recieved the 4000 IHT sound bar for Christmas. Set it up in minutes with my relativaly new 46" Sony Bravia LCD TV. I feel like the TV just got 10 times better. Can't say enough about the rich and clear sound, unbelievable! Only complaint I have is there was no mounting hardware for the bar, ie. wall anchors. A bit cheap for such a beautiful sound system. The wireless subwoofer is strong and really adds depth to TV or music.

Great sound in a small package. After looking at several options this soundbar gave me the quality I was looking for at a resonable price. My only complaint, and it`s small, is that the optical cord connects solidly to the TV but not so to the soundbar. The set up could not have been easier....gotta love that!!!!! All around a highly recommended system.

DO NOT USE FIBRE OPTIC CABLE!!!! Works fine for about ten minutes then breaks down. I guess you get what you pay for.

After initial teething problems solved, came to conclusion that the free fibre optic cable is USELESS !!!! DO NOT USE.

Room filling sound from a compact design, Subwoofer does not interfere with other devices.
Weaknesses:
Sub woofer can only be adjusted by factory remote, mine however stopped working and I needed to order a new remote through Polk.
Review:
I have had my Polk 4000 Sound Bar for over a year now and it has worked great. I use it with my bedroom tv and it gives an extraordinary sound without all the messy wires. I would how ever recommend to upgrade to the 6000 model if you are useing it in a larger room.
