The compact SDA control module goes right where your audio equipment or cable box goes, connects in seconds with no setup at all, and ensures an audio experience just not possible from other soundbar designs. 7CH, 5CH or LCR configurable all from a single switch.

I have this sound bar for about a year now. I could not be more pleased. This sound bar replaced two Klipsch Heresy speakers up, a Klipsch center channel speaker and two Panasonic speakers for the rear. All speakers were over twenty years old. I have a small room that I have my equipment in. The sound bar fills the room with good quality clear sound. The 500 CHT is connected to a new Yamaha RX-V673. By the way I am running two sub woofers. One is a Yamaha and the other is a Polk Audio.

Decent tonal range, louder than you imagine, and the surround sound imaging is works better than expected in smaller rooms.
Weaknesses:
It will not replace floor standing speakers in a larger room. However, if your receiver can handle additional channels (i.e. A+B), surprising it will augment them so you don't have to take it down when you upgrade. To use it in a large room you should pair it up with the recommended surrounds or risk having tonal mismatch.
Review:
I purchased this to replace an awesome set of Polk floor standing speakers I had for 12 years. For smaller rooms, paired with a good subwoofer, it really does the job. The wiring harness is perfect for mounting it on the wall, and it looks REALLY good under your flat panel. Worth the money if you need a sound bar because it may well be the best one out - it just KILLS the econobar we have in our bedroom made by one of the other "leading" brands.
