Questions

How is this speaker powered? I am renovating and need to be able to tell the electrician what do do. And how do you get usic to go through it? Does it have a bluetooth interface? amazing that such basic info is not listed under 'specificaqtions.'

Hello, These speakers are passive and require an amp or receiver to be powered. The amp or receiver then has speaker wire terminals where the speakers can be connected to.

I Have Denon AVR-X4700H amplifier. I wonder if this speaker works with an amplifier Power Output-125 W (8 ohms, 20 Hz - 20 kHz, 0.05% 2ch Drive). I am planning to buy 5 wall speakers to plug in with an amplifier for my living room.

Hello, the Denon AVR-X4700H will bring the most out of the Polk Audio MC80 in-ceiling speakers. I recommend running the Audyssey feature found in the Denon to help balance the system.

I have a pair of these that I’ve bought years ago to install in my ceiling but never did. Now I need to upgrade my home theater speakers and I wonder if these speakers can be mounted in wall?

Hello, the Polk Audio MC80 In-ceiling speakers are designed for ceiling installation but can be used for in-wall. The MC80 provides an aim-ready swivel tweeter to provide accurate, more realistic imaging, resulting in further placement flexibility. They can be mounted in wall.
