Rated 5 out of 5 by from Polk Suprises Again! As a long-time fan of Polk Audio, I am yet again suprised by the sound quality and value packed into the Signa S2D. First off, it took less than 10 minutes to unpack the sound bar and subwoofer from the inovative packaging and begin listing to clear, clean sound. The small wireless subwoofer is adequate for small rooms where traditional surround sound systems are not practical. Overall, hard to beat this quality stystem at this price point!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Purchase Very good quality and sounds much better than any TV speaker. Extremely easy to set up, will take longer to unbox product than using it. I set the wireless bass subwoofer in the back corner of a 14x14 foot living room behind a couch and it works very good and is loud and works in tandem with the soundbar. No, the sub won't shake windows, you will need a $400 sub for that, but for normal viewing of sports and movies, this does the job without disappointment.

Questions

Will this soundbar work with my TCL ROKU TV?

Asked by: Tim64
Hello, yes, the Polk Audio S2D soundbar is compatible with TCL Roku Televisions. I do recommend connecting the Soundbar via HDMI ARC/eARC. ARC will allow the TCL TV to control the soundbar using HDMI Control. If connection assistance is required, please don't hesitate to contact our Product support team. https://www.polkaudio.com/en-us/contact-us.html

I am thinking about buying a SD2 2.2 combo to hook to a new Sony A90K48. I have read several /problems with the issue of the soumd jumping up/down in increments of 3 (when hooked up via the HDMI ARC)instead of the normal increments of 1?

Asked by: markmizzou
Hello, when connecting a device to a Television via eARC/ARC, the Television is now in command using CEC HDMI control/Bravia Sync. No compatibility issues have been reported with Sony Television volume commands via CEC HDMI control/Bravia Sync. However, I recommend you consider our S4 soundbar to match your excellent OLED television. The S4 provides Dolby Atmos and a broader, more impactful experience.

Hello, functionally speaking there is no difference between the two. The S2D is the online exclusive finish that has a different grille and paint. Otherwise both speakers are the same.

My TV doesn't have an Optical Cord, will this soundbar and subwoofer still be able to connect with just the HDMI cable?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, as long as your TV's HDMI port that the sound bar is connected to has ARC then it will receive the sound from the TV and send it to the Subwoofer as well.
