Questions

Curious if I can run this system via a Bluetooth connection to an Amazon fire stick. I want to run this setup off a projector so I’m trying to find a system that doesn’t not require a direct plug-in to the source. Thanks!

Asked by: Calzone
Here is a link that explains how to connect your Fire Stick to a bluetooth speaker https://thehometheaterdiy.com/use-bluetooth-speakers-with-amazon-fire-tv-stick/ Please note that our soundbar does accept a bluetooth signal to stream music but is not designed to work with video as there is an inherent latency with bluetooth and you may experience sync issues with your video and audio playback. We would recommend that you reach out to Amazon about questions regarding the Fire Stick device and their recommendations with your particular setup.

Is it possible for Polk SR2 Wireless Speakers to connect to the Magnfi Max SR?

Asked by: Haley
Hello, the SR2 wireless surround speakers are compatible with the new MagniFi Max AX soundbars. The SR2 speakers are incompatible with the original MagniFi Max. The SR1 wireless speakers are compatible with the MagniFi Max SR/None AX models.

Love the system, but can I add another set of the small speakers like the rear ones and use them for front speakers ?

Asked by: expand
Hello, We are happy to hear that you are enjoying the Soundbar. Regarding your question, only one pair of wireless surround speakers and one wireless subwoofer can be paired with the Polk Audio MagniFi Max Soundbars. No additional speakers can be added.

Why is my subwoofer green light is blinking. Not sure I have had my Polk system over three years.

Asked by: Marine515
Hello, if it is flashing green, you need to sync the subwoofer to the soundbar. Instructions can be found on page 20 of the user manual. Please see attached link. https://www.polkaudio.com/-/media/files/documentmaster/polk-us/polk-magnifimaxsr-qsg.pdf

My rear speakers keep making fluttering noises and popping. unbearable. Subwoofer also makes some popping now. Firmware says 136 in google home. What can i do?? Thanks

Asked by: JSDRN
Its not located near the router and the problem is really with the satellite speakers. they go in and out and sound like theyre under water (distortion). Firmware is 136

Does anyone have this running as a receiver output? I like the setup of this, but I still want to use my receiver primarily as I have 4 other devices connected that I use regularly

Asked by: Steff
Hi Steff, Soundbars are designed to be used instead of a receiver (space-saving). They are not designed to be used with a receiver. Receivers are used by people who want their system to do more than a Soundbar is capable of.

Will there be a firmware update to make the MagniFi Max SR compatible with Thread networking? I’d love to be able to add my speakers to Apple Home.

Asked by: MrKinver
Hi MrKinver, Unfortunately, I have not been made aware of any such planned upgrade.
