Every Detail

Comes with a grille to cover the front baffle and a second grille for the top to cover the optional height module when installed. Computer modeled for a precision fit and to minimize sonic interference. The acoustically inert magnetic grilles offer a clean aesthetic without sacrificing sound.

Polk believes cabinets should be beautiful but add nothing to the playback. Polk Legend cabinets, braces, and internal enclosures are carefully engineered to minimize unwanted internal standing waves and eliminate unwanted resonances. The result is a cabinet that rigidly holds the transducers while faithfully reproducing recordings.

Perfect for easy setup, they ensure the most direct, efficient, and loss-less connection possible. Dual binding posts support both bi-wire and bi-amping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best speakers I've had in 55 years I got a super deal on a used pair and after some break in time these little puppies recreate music and soundstage like no other speakers I've owned. I've owned a lot - Magnepan x4 models, Thiel, Spica, KEF, Acoustat, and these are the best - bar none. I can't believe the bass/mid bass; for most of my listening I keep the sub off. I'm driving them with a Topping LA90 (excellent in its own right). I've placed them on spikes on spiked Target, sand filled, stands the weigh about 45lbs each. Bottom line it these suckers get my toes taping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Polk Speaker series ever made! The smallest of the legend series is able to easily sound as good as any of its legend siblings. Highly resolving with a wide soundstage. These are forward sounding which makes them sound great with lively recordings. They are revealing so any bad recordings or mediocre equipment will sound as such. They will reward you handsomely with good recordings and decent power. I have a tube integrated amplifier (Rouge Audio Cronus Magnum 3) servicing them with excellent results.

Questions

Hi, What AV receiver do you recommend for this set-up: Fronts legend L100, center R350 and sub HTS 12?

Asked by: Dan007
Hello, We typically find ourselves pairing these speakers with Denon or Marantz receivers. The majority of their selection will power these speakers well and you can focus on the features you want in the receiver knowing that it will mesh great in your system.

Can these speaker be ceiling mounted?

Asked by: Sascha
Due to their weight, mounting the L900 speakers to the ceiling is not recommended. Please consider one of our In-Ceiling speaker options. - https://www.polkaudio.com/en-us/category/built-in-speakers/in-ceiling/

What speaker stands are featured on the L100 webpage?

Asked by: Rickca
Hello Rickca, I am not 100% sure which stands are marketing team used, but they do look similar to the Monolith by Monoprice 28" speaker stands. Hope this helps. Happy listening.

Would the Cambridge AXR85 Receiver have enough power for the L100 speakers? Do you think these speakers are big enough for a room 20' x 30' or would you recommend towers instead?

Asked by: Dave222
For a room that large I recommend the L600 with a larger amplifier.
