Questions

Can I get the covers in white instead of black? The speakers are for replacing the Magnadyne ceiling speakers in the Lance trailer.

Asked by: RoyB
Hello RoyB, unfortunately, the Grills/Covers are only available in Black. However, I do not see that your current speakers are specifically designed for Car/Boat Audio. If the provided amplifier in your Lance Trailer is not car audio specific, perhaps you could consider one of our in-ceiling speakers. Depending on the current cutout, we offer a wide selection of in-ceiling speakers that provide white grills. Please see the link for further details. https://www.polkaudio.com/en-us/category/built-in-speakers/in-ceiling/

Are these speakers 100watt rms a piece? Or is it 100watt rms a pair?

Asked by: Spank30
Hello, The spec would apply to each individual speaker rather than the pair. The peak handling power is 300 watts as well.

Do I need 3 wires to these speakers or will the 2 wires work?

Asked by: 522 Coaxial speaker
Hello, For these speakers you would wire them according to the diagram in the manual which shows two wires going from the positive and negative terminals on the speaker to either the crossover or the amp depending on how you are installing them.

CAN ANY OF THESE MARINE USE SPEAKERS BE USED TO REPLACE JAYCO FACTORY RV INSIDE/OUTSIDE SPEAKERS THAT WORK WITH A FURRION RADIO/TV SYSTEM? THESE SPEAKERS ARE SUBJECT TO EXTREME HIGH AND LOW TEMPERATURES/HUMIDITY PLUS VIBRATION.

Asked by: ARABREINER
I replaced outside speakers on my class A motorhome with Polk marine certified speakers a year ago and they have performed well. Clean sound no distortion. Far superior to factory setup.

what is the difference between the DB522 and the MM522

Asked by: Don522
Outside of styling cues and slight size differences, the MM522 is Ultra-Marine Certified (IP56 rating), allowing them to be more durable in harsher environments across various applications. Additionally, the tweeter is a 1/2" larger, and they have a slightly higher max sensitivity of 92dB
