What tower speakers is this timbre matched with?

Hello, There are not specifically timbre matched tower speakers for our inwall speakers. That said, these can pair nicely with any of our tower speakers and we would likely recommend taking a look at the Monitor series or the Signature Elite series.

What is the speaker's crossover settings?

Hello, These speakers can go as low as 30hz, depending on your system, you can set the crossover fairly low around that range and it should work well, from there you can raise the crossover to personal taste.

Is there a place I can order a new cover? I tried painting mine per the instructions and now the sound is distorted.

Will this center channel pair well with rc85i front L/R? Or do you suggest another center & also what non in-wall center is best with the rc85i? Thanks

Yes, the Polk Audio 255C-RT in-wall center speaker will pair wonderfully with the RC85i speakers. If it is possible to place the speaker on a shelf outside the wall, consider the Polk Audio ES30 center speaker.

Can this be mounted in the ceiling? If so, should I place it closer to the TV or above the seating area?

Hello, the Polk Audio 255C-RT in-wall center channel is designed to be placed in the wall but can be placed in the ceiling. Please note that it is recommended to place the center channel speaker closest to the Television as its responsible for all the dialogue reproduction. This helps create the illusion that voices originate from the Television screen. Place the speaker in the wall above or below the Television if possible.
